It looks like you robbed a bank and the dye pack exploded in your secret lair lol. You're a big fan of blue I take it? What's the vision for the rest of the interior design?

I have led neon strips I’m going to put on the top part of the wall, I also have a lot of vintage and new arcade and pinball posters I’m having framed to put above the games in various places. I’ve also collected several playfields, I plan to do something with those too... there’s going to be so much going on with arcade and pinball machines I’m trying not to go over kill. Going dark gray carpet on bottom floor , and arcade fluorescent carpet up stairs.
Update!
Final inspection completed... on to finishing my patio and Hvac soon! Moving forward

So what is happening to the access to the 2nd floor from the inside? Spiral Staircase? Firemans Pole? Rope ladder? Long ladder with a handrail? Or are you just going to use that attic access ladder? Hey, We want to know.

Make sure you light um up. I got 3 sets of 4 at Ikea so each set of 4 changes color at different times.

Hehe , “blockbuster”. I spent years deciding on my next movie to watch in my local bb, I bet that’s why my wife chose those colors... she’s reliving her childhood in this project too

Whoah! I’m liking this very much... can’t wait to start detail stuff like this
Update time... no words just pics, too busy to talk about things like building in my patio, air conditioners, and led neon, sorry guys no time at all. Oh and stairs, don’t have time to talk about how I started building stairs and ripped it all out and ordered a metal spiral staircase, not to not mention that a random baseball game fouled out and landed in my doorway. I guess another time

Led lighting
Rhein lighting technology inc in China, you can find them on alibaba, they are the 3/4” thick led neon. Buy the aluminum tracks as well and plenty of splice connectors, talk to Leon,
www.rhein18.com rhein18.en.alibaba.com e: [email protected] Skype:Huliboled
Brick
Brick paneling from Home Depot , I used a gray grout caulk and an exact paint match to the grout for the panels seams, the “bricks” still look separated, the grout lines look mostly connected and perfect ... but once I put games and art up, no one will notice
Quoted from MustangPaul:I'd like to ride up and down on the outside lift you have.
That would be a sight!

Thank you... Everything looks great!!
You have been working your ass off dude! Been away too long, took a while to get up to speed on this thread. Finally have some vacation time, so I’ve been able to catch up on a bunch of stuff. Your game room is looking amazing!
Very cool! You are busting your ass, and it is paying off. It’s amazing and you’re not even done. Text me if you ever need an extra pair of hands. Can’t wait to see the final product.
Quoted from MustangPaul:Now that's cool, gonna make loading you gr a breeze. How much weight do ya think it would handle?
The cable winch is rated at 1200lbs. The existing equipment is about 150lbs...
I don’t think I have any games or anything else that’s over 500 lbs... I think my Virtua Racing Machine is the heaviest, but it comes apart in 2 pieces

Yeah your good.
Quoted from markp99:I'm curious about the asymmetrical alignment of the chains. What was your thought there?
I needed some room to get the games on from the shorter side...
The bottom frame can handle the weight, especially offset by the other side

When I watched the video, looking down from the 2nd floor, I could see your predicament. Not much room for front loading. My only (non-professional) concern would be non-symmetrical loading on that symmetrical frame (i.e., racking). Though, your design might be beefy enough to overcome any issue.
Cool lift! Definitely very functional, however not having any rails on there give me great concern. Even if you made them removable so that they could be put away when not it use would be a huge safety improvement.
I’m guessing that platform folds up when not in use? If so I hope there is a heavy duty latch to keep it in the down position when the dolly wheels cross the fulcrum of the platform hinge. Otherwise might be a pretty exciting offload.
It does have me thinking if there is any way I can do something similar for my basement... Hrrrmmm...
