Some additional info will help.
Controlled lights = insert and backbox indicator lights that turn on and off individually during a game, or possibly while the game is idle (attract mode).
General illumination lights = lights under plastics on the playfield and behind the backglass that come on and stay on until the game is turned off.
Are you talking about one or the other, or both?

Yes, looks like your problem is general illumination (G.I.) in the backbox only.
That's good news, since the G.I. on the playfield and the controlled lights are still on.
Did this just happen, or did you move/clean/bump/adjust the game?
Does it play now?
