I'm looking for ideas about what to do with the metal panel that the boards screw to. My panel is a bit stained up. It looks like a galvanized panel so I don't want to hit it with sandpaper. How is everyone else treating this panel?

Have you tried getting it regalvanized?

Bryan Kelly shows how he refinishes the back box circuit board mounting panel in Bally/Williams games; it looks very nice when done.
