I have aquired a couple of games that were in a restaurant fire and the back box boards are stained. Can we even get new ones, or do they have to be made? Not even sure if it is an option, or paint with Kilz and cover with contact paper. I am sure restorers have a method to remedy this. The games are Swords of Fury and Rollergames. Thanks in advance.

Take it off sand & re-paint.

Quoted from Aflacjack:

Can we even get new ones,

No.

Quoted from Aflacjack:

they have to be made

That would fall on you.

If the pressed wood hasn't swelled or anything bad. Strip everything off it. Sand it. Paint it. Done.

Many of us remake them. Then save one as a template just for this reason. I would be happy to make a new one for you, it would require you to ship the original(s) to me minus any components. Here is my High Speed I re did from an original.

Awesome! Glad there are options out there. I am going to try to sand one and see how I do. There is a strong chance I will be sending you two...hahahaha

Metal parts removed and ultrasonic cleaned. Next is the tumbler. These will come out nice once I paint.
