If you're looking for the same glow as an incandescent I've found CT Warm White Retros are very close. Frosted Warm white is my second choice and Frosted Cool white third as it has a blueish tint to it.
MUST be round dome in any case or you'll get round spots of light

In my experience the warm retros are closest to incandescent in glow and color. If there's damage to a translite, incandescents and retros will show it about the same amount.
