Made it home from York last night. Late. But content!
I went hoping to get a Paragon, Creature, and BSD. One out of three ain't bad!
Creature had playfield wear I wasn't crazy about, the so did the BSD. Bummer because both were described as in good condition, but it's all good.

Wound up with Marlan's Centaur 2 by happenstance. Was being walked in, I went right over, and made a deal!
And wound up with a Met Pro NIB. Was on the fence, but my wife pushed me over the edge
And Paragon came with a gorgeous cabinet.
Also snagged a Paragon backglass, Centaur playfield, and a few other goodies.

Now to unload....2013-10-11 21.17.48.jpg2013-10-11 21.17.48.jpg2013-10-11 16.18.20.jpg2013-10-11 16.18.20.jpg2013-10-11 12.14.53.jpg2013-10-11 12.14.53.jpg2013-10-11 11.08.12.jpg2013-10-11 11.08.12.jpg

#4 10 years ago

#5 10 years ago

Fantastic haul! You sir have taste!

#6 10 years ago

nice haul three great games ! how much was centaur2?

#7 10 years ago

Don't you already have one or two Paragon?

Why can't I find one for a fair price up here in NE?

Because I keep restoring the playfields around here and their prices to up!

Awesome!

Went yesterday my only pickup was a key FOB. That WH20 was very tempting but out of cash and room right now. On a side not my wife enjoyed her shopping spree at TJ Maxx, Ross and Home Goods.

You wanna do a paragon playfield?

Good deals to be had for me on everything....
Centaur2 was under $2k and in great shape, but I think I just got lucky. Marlan was unloading it and I walked right over to him and made him an offer before it was even plugged in and the rain was wiped off of it

Paragon's seem to come up, but it's a matter of finding good ones...

Unfortunately they are all now sitting in storage...full house!

Better get on the contractor to get cracking on the basement!

Jealous of the Centaur!

#13 10 years ago

Yeah sorry I didn't get back to you in that email. Is that the same one you sent me pictures of? If so I think its doable.

-Jim

#14 10 years ago

Jim, no worries. I will reach out to you at some point

It was a good haul. Excited, but I think the centaur is the best one!

#15 10 years ago

Nice scores! Gotta let me know how you like MET pro. I think MOP is a ton of fun? Haven't played the pro.

I love the centaur II. I had one and the only reason I sold it to my good friend was that I found a original. One of the best games of all time. I really like the cabinet too, but it is universally hated. Congratulations, I'm glad people are discovering these classics. I meet to many people who think the only good games are dot matrix's.

You have lost your mind.

Yep....I didn't want to even give Marlan a chance to dry that puppy off!

I thought you got rid of T3 - Did you get another?

Which makes the show a dud when anything decent walks out during the show and the bingo machines remain.

Yep. My wife was actually upset that I got rid of the last one, so she made me get another.

I only counted a handful of bingo's at the show!! Great show IMHO, seemed the same as all the previous York shows. Hats off to the new guys running it.
