Williams also released the Black Knight LE back in '81 so this idea has been around 30+ years.
Quoted from phishrace:The publisher is a half out of the closet Stern hater (see his posting history here), so not a good source IMO. Was it a direct quote from someone within Stern?
It's a direct quote from the investor, yes, so please shelve that closet hater nonsense.
Quoted from Aurich:...so please shelve that closet hater nonsense.
Have your read his posts here? As I said, he's half out of the closet. His posting history speaks for itself. I highly encourage reading his posting history here if you're contemplating buying the magazine.
Getting off topic now, but based on what he's posted here, I'll never buy his magazine. I don't think a hater of any manufacturer should be publishing a magazine called Pinball Magazine. I find the thought offensive. No haters representing the hobby please.
Quoted from vex:so jack is to blame for the sucker version...who is responsible for premium version? that's the real winner for me
Premium is nothing more than the reincarnation of "Standard"... you know, from back when there was no extra-stripped version, and when an LE represented bling and exclusivity, and not entirely different gameplay.
