I've already given up on this. I think I have a better chance of seeing my Hobbit before 2016 than I do of getting castle walls before 2015.
That said, I LOVE Matt's work!

Seriously I do. On friday I got in the brackets from JJP and they look and fit great, Now that I have them I am finalizing the sculpting and tweaking a few things on the back walls. I will be casting a master mold later today and working through out the week on getting them finalized.
If all goes well I think we can start pre orders on these in about a week from today. But I have to finalize a few thing with JJP on these parts.
Too late. I've already lost the will to live. 
(But I LOVE the side rails you painted for me for LOTR!!!)

It ain't gonna be cheap I'm guessing. Probably between $100 and $200. If it doesn't light up, do back flips, and blow me on command (with a thank you when finished), then it shouldn't be much more than that.
EDIT: that being said, I'll be buying one either way!
I paid $350 for a stationary piece of glass that does nothing. In fact, nobody noticing it was the whole point, and it's the most expensive mod on my LOTR. This, people will notice. And I think it's worth the price. Way better than the horrible stickered castle that's there now and better than the other mod out there, which simply looks too homemade for my taste. My order is in. I just hope it also performs sexual favors as previously requested.
I'm pretty sure JJP does control the pricing. Matt emailed me that he had to get the prices and go ahead from jack to start selling them. So I think that's out of his hands. JJP and warner brothers both get a cut I think. Licensing sucks.

And the witch in the bird cage mod, I don't get that. Was that in the movie? If you don't like the acrylic tube just remove it and buy extra witches to replace when broken.
Again, Matt's mods are licensed, they are going on the 75th Anniversary. I want the same mods on my game that are going on the 75th Anniversary. Also Matt sculpted all the mods in the WOZ so it makes sense to go with these additional mods.231651-i.jpg 66 KB

I don't even think you need to respond, Matt. Your pieces are a work of art. High quality art is expensive. If people want mall art they can look elsewhere and save a few bucks.
