There are two Baby Pacs on location in middle Tennessee! We have one.

Quoted from chuckwurt:

My parents live in Crossville. Is that near them? Would love to come and play.

Closest drive for you would be Lebanon at 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Yep. Although I would wait until I finish White Water. Looking like about a month from now at the pace I'm going. It's gonna turn out super nice.

Quoted from ForceFlow:

CRTs blended the vector graphics together, making it look like a smoother image.
LCDs render things exactly as they are programmed--in blocky vector graphics.
Here's a comparison I saw posted somewhere recently:

Raster graphics, you mean. I'm probably pretty much the opposite of Picard in this argument. CRTs make low resolution images (old games, SDTV in some cases) look fantastic. Scanlines, blurring, and other artifacts help hide the otherwise humongous and jagged pixels. But, if you're talking HD content or a PC monitor LCD is king.

In fact I like the effect so much I drove around town a picked up a junked TV sitting in someone's front yard. Works perfectly.

Actually I've heard CRTs consume about as much power as plasma panels. Just put your hand up to a running DMD. Neither is efficient by any means.
