Has anyone replaced thier CRT? do they still make these things? Just wondering what the options are.
Thanks,
Quoted from dmieczko:I would definitely try to fix it before replacing it. What's going on with the picture?
Honestly, its just the burnt in lettering. other than that thats it.
Anybody put the Yoppsicle LED Sticks in thier Baby Pac-Man? I have a lot of the factory plastic bulb holds are broken and dont work. I had seen these to replace them and was wondering if there was any problems in doing that?
Thanks,

Only thing I can not get to work is the sound.

Communication is working. same numbers on the screen.
Game works from videogame and switch to pinball. But no sound.
I did a repin, and solder also put in some new ic’s.
Nothing helps. My test button sound does not give 2 blinks.
I really hope someone can help me.

InkedVidiot Board (resized).jpgAnybody have the original coin box for their game? if so, can you post a picture? or if there is one for sale, let me know.

Thank you ForceFlow and silverUnicorn. Chris if it not much trouble, can you give the messurments of it?
Thanks,

Quoted from Isochronic_Frost:I’m always looking for them at shows and such, would like a cashbox for my Granny and Baby Pac. I believe Granny uses a different cashbox, however.
Hoping to find one at the Texas Pinball Festival’s swap meet
Quoted from SilverUnicorn:No trouble at all. I don’t have the lid though.

Excellent and thanks
Anybody have a communication problem? For some reason i don’t have the numbers even coming up on the screen. Any suggestions?
Quoted from alexanr1:Trying to find a CPR playfield for baby Pac-Man, or one that was redone and clear coated? If anyone has one the would be willing to sell or knows where there is one for sale, let me know. Thanks! Love the game!
I had put my name on the Classic Playfields web site for when they came back in stock and they sent me one and I should get it this Friday. I think i was on the list for a month or so.
Quoted from alexanr1:I have too, but no response yet….
I did not receive ant notification until I had receive an email that it was back in stock. Then I went to the website and it was, then I put it in my cart and purchased it then went back and it was out of stock again. I thinking they either had enough interest at the time to make a couple. It was in stock for the longest time before, and of course when I wanted it it was out. Like I had mentioned before it was about a month and a half or less. Hope for the best.
Is there any good replacement of the playfield feature light for the Baby Pac-Man. I thought I could use the Yopsicles and they only work in some of them because they stay light all the time? I have a new playfield for mine and I would like to upgrade the lights. Thanks
Quoted from ForceFlow:It uses a lamp matrix with diodes. Popsicles don't include diodes, so you'll need to add them or go with a different solution.
Someone recently designed a lamp board for the lamp grid in the middle of the playfield.

Those supposedly worked for games with a lamp matrix (yopps do not). I have not tried them though.
I will check this out. Thanks

Hey ForceFlow, can you elaborate on the diode usage?
Quoted from Pinash:I swapped out my GI, but not the controlled lamps. If you do swap out the controlled lamps, make sure you use the three lug sockets and put on a diode in the same arrangement as the factory sockets.
Any chance of getting a picture of your work?
Quoted from Pinash:Anything specific?
The way you changed the GI to the different type of bulb
Quoted from Talon2000:I did a thing. Side blades for Baby Pac.

Just ordered one. Thanks
Quoted from Pinash:I’d like to copy, but maybe not as bright. What size led strips did you use?
I went to home dumpo and got a kit. It came with a remote and it is adjustable in color and brightness. It’s really not as bright as the camera shows.
