I’m currently doing a playfield swap and noticed the old playfield wood brackets are held on to the main playfield with long thick staples. Now my CPR playfield is clearcoated and want to know the best way to attach the wood without cracking the playfield should I use an air staple gun what gauge staples? Should I use a different method?

Bump, with a picture of what I’m referring to.

I did not use staples/air gun. I used wood screws for this and made sure that the drill went through both places (playfield/rail) at the same time.

Good luck!
