MPU might have issues. The ram on the mpu might have some corrupt data(7 million plays is unlikely). Did you run the communications test? Did all the numbers match? If you’re sure the MPU is solid, I would then look at the rams on the vidiot. I would also swap the vidiot PIA with a know good one as it does control the joystick.
