this does it on all 4 players, I suspect the bumpers, change relay, match unit issue or could it be all score units EOS since it does it on all 4 players?

I would check the Player Unit for misadjustment or a short, etc. PU is on p.18 & 19: https://www.ipdb.org/files/119/Williams_1976_Aztec_Instruction_Manual.pdf
Capture (resized).PNGchecked the player unit for maladjustment. Adjusted up and down with the stop bolt on the relay checked for any shorts did not fix problem. Jumped Jones Plug individually one at a time and would score correct correctly. If operated individually the 100 score also would lock up at 9 on all 4 players and once when jones plug in 100 and 1,000 point score together.

When any of the 100 point score reel reaches 9 it locks up the 100 and 1,000 point score reel. Any 10 point will unlock. This is on all 4 players. With both score reels going at the same time i got the reels out of sequence and determined the 100 points are doing this.

Since that worked I would expand the jumpering so you can see exactly at which point things change from correct scoring to the lock up.
