Sure is. Everything used has to come from CA (and those prices) or shipped from elsewhere. Last year we brought one game and almost a second back from TPF. This year there are plans to try for one each from my travel group, so 3 total... Maybe.
Yep, been avoiding buying from out of state but not sure there's much choice. As long as you're not worried about turning a profit, or even breaking even really, it's no biggie. When I lose a bit on passing a game on I just consider it the rental fee.

I'm buying games with my location in mind, so they don't have to be pristine. Nice will do just fine.
Just listed a Bally BMX for my brother who is in Goodyear. Easy garage level pickup.

Stern IJ is sold. TOTAN holiday special $6,700 with topper, color DMD brassed shooter housing, purple flipper bats, micro crack in PF by genie hole one switch needs attention and a couple bulbs need replacing in back box. cabinet is in really good shape, minimal fade on original decals. head has some scrapes. the bazaar hole is low play along with the shooter lane. Original coin door in great condition with manual custom cards. Pics emailed upon request.
Nobody local responded to wanting to take over my order so unfortunatley I had to cancel my RZ that was in playtest and set to ship out. I'm sure it'll find a happy home somewhere!

I just picked up a Road Show, it's pretty fun! Has anyone worked on these before? I think the only thing wrong with it, is the eyelids on both Ted and Red don't work correctly. The eyes and mouth on both seem to move correctly. I took apart Red today and I think I need new coils in both. The coils seemed stiff, does that mean that they are bad? Should they move smoothly?

I love my XMEN LE Wolverine. It has to be the most fun for the money in a recent Stern LE. I am worn out after gameplay...who needs the gym? GLWTS, great gameplay, IMHO.

I have a beautiful Fish Tales with a Diamond Plated playfield in very good condition. It plays 100%. LEDs and colored rubbers and posts look beautiful. This machine is gorgeous. Great machine fast and fun. Cabinet has some fade. Cash deal. $3000.00. I got this from Kris at Firebird a few months back for $3200. I need space, my loss your gain.
