My friends and I have ordered dozens of times from PBR and don't mind sending checks/money orders. This helps to keep costs down and prices low. I'm all for keeping the prices down. Lower prices means I can afford to buy more parts.

Sure, you can buy parts from Marco Specialties, but you'll pay double the price for the same parts.

My buddy Welby has literally purchased thousands of dollars of parts from PBR over the past 5 years.

    Quoted from metallik:

That's normal.. Steve is just letting you know the updated number in the hope you will update YOUR notes and use the new number in the future. But, it's your original part numbers that allowed Steve to find the parts you needed in the first place, regardless of new numbers, so looking them up was totally not a waste of time

How true that is. Manufacturers change part numbers all the time. Just look at Williams. They've changed coil numbers a couple of times.

Sometimes a manufacturer will change part numbers because they've improved or modified a particular part. A part can also be superceeded by an improved part.
