Quoted from NeilMcRae:

someone posted this on the facebook group, handy to compare black vs purple coin door.

Still struggling with this decision myself.

Quoted from cyberslunk:

Did you guys know that Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland creators of Rick and Morty are both pedophiles and sadistic sick fucks?

So by your logic, Anthony Hopkins is a cannibal because he portrayed one in Silence of the Lambs?

Someone needs to learn the difference between fiction and reality.

The UK batch of R&M are going to be delivered soon and a kind UK Pinsider happens to be organising a group buy from Pin Monk. I'm definitely going with a set of Tibetan Breeze flipper cooling kits for my Stranger Things and a quiet fan kit for R&M, but I'm not sure if I should get a Tibetan Breeze kit for R&M, and if so, if I should go for the two or three fan kit as I haven't played the game yet so no idea how bad the flipper fade is on the game.

Does anyone with the game / with the kits installed have any thoughts?

My machine was delivered today, but when I try and boot it I get stuck on this screen...

Any ideas?

Edit - ignore, loose connector at the back of the cabinet!

Quoted from guitarded:

Check and / or reseat all of the cables. I would start with the backbox / HD.

Thanks - I'd checked all the cables in the backbox but found a loose power connector at the back of the cabinet which fixed it!

Apologies if this has been covered on the thread before, but I didn’t find anything when I searched. I switched R&M on recently and got the following message on the screen:

1767D042-5C51-403B-8F6C-C9EC78ED50FE (resized).jpeg1767D042-5C51-403B-8F6C-C9EC78ED50FE (resized).jpeg

After power cycling the game, the screen now stays black. The fan comes on, and the playfield lights all white, but nothing else happens.

Not really sure where to start with this one - has it happened to anyone else? It was playing fine just a couple of days before and wasn’t moved / touched in the meantime.

Quoted from monkfe:

I think that happened to me and it turned out to be the small battery needed replacement...watch battery that is...

Quoted from zebpin61:

It's a CR2032 lithium battery. I happen to be replacing most of my batteries this week so I'm tuned in on this right now. Lithium button batteries may be able to last 7 to 10 years according to the battery shipper. I recommend taking a quick voltage read to determine what it's capable now. As an engineer (and OCD) I've opted to record the voltages of both the outgoing and new batteries to get a bench mark on how long they last in my individual games. Figure that I'll check each battery thereafter when I get a pinside reminder at the 1 year mark. Yes, I have too much time to play with this...

Thanks, appreciate the pointers. Just ordered some, will test when they arrive on Friday.

Quoted from MutterFudder:

Once the batteries get there, check out this page for the procedure to make this go away. Sadly, it's not just a quick replace (quicker if you're on the later board, but still). Make sure you have a USB keyboard handy.

Thanks, appreciate it!
