Quoted from Pinball-Obsessed:Don’t break your arm jerking yourself off...
Love that call out in the game! It was even funnier that it happened when Charlie was playing.
Time link to that callout? I think I remember it.
Quoted from FatPanda:I vote for "In Bird Culture, This Is Considered A Dick Move - Official Rick and Morty Club"
On Friday's it should be changed to "Time to get Riggity Riggity Wrecked Son!"
Quoted from gac:That's pretty awesome. Is there a dimension out there where the Orioles are any good? I kid I kid.
I wanted Mr Poopybutthole on my shirt but they said they can't use those images do to copyrights. But they can use the portal/garage and O's logo?
Quoted from cooked71:Congrats concretehardt !! Looks like you got purple coin door. Happy with your choice?
Looks great. Really ties the pin together.
Quoted from ahdelarge:Can anyone suggest some nice high res shots of Rick and Morty pinball for phone backgrounds? Or a nice photo from an owner that showcases the artwork and the lights with a nice stark backdrop.
Yes, isolation boredom here. haha.
Tons on Zedge

Quoted from N80G80:Let me know if someone else gets it to install....10 minutes and I’m still on the update screen.
[quoted image]
It would probably load quicker if you bring it over to my basement.
Quoted from northerndude:Yup, my pin issues don’t have me troubled as far as not still being a Spooky cheerleader. I have to fix things, (not tweak) that blows, but I’m a big boy and I’ll figure it out here.
If you need help with the coin door lock, hit me up.
Every time I hear my phone alert that I have a new email, I get all excited that it may be my 157 shipping notice from Spooky.
Put quite a few games on mine this weekend with latest code.
Had a couple glitchy/audio clipping instances and a couple game resets.
Also, I seem to only see the same 5 or so dimensions. Have yet to see any of the weird flipper dimensions. Are those just seen less frequently?
Latest code
I've had a few times audio video clipped and slowed to a halt. Have to reset. Seems random. Once when I was entering initials and again in the middle of pickle rick mode.
Anyone else seeing this?
Loving the game so far. Skipped golf with my buds today just to play R&M all afternoon.
Quoted from Coindork:There is also one dimension where the left flipper controls the lower left flipper and the upper right flipper.
Confused the hell out of me first time I played it.
Friggin awesome.
Can't wait to see this. How often does it come up?
Been playing a good bit lately. So fun when you start stacking things together, collecting mega seeds then you look up and see your score exploding.
Quoted from zaphX:Well this sucks. Second play broke the game. Shot the scoop, ball did not eject for a long time. Now I can't start a game, start button fires the scoop VUK and does nothing else.
Anyone have suggestions to diagnose?
Are you on most recent code? I had some issues with the code it was shipped with. Updated and all good.
Seems like after the game is on for an hour or so, it stops playing attract sounds and also the cable/commercial clips.
Quoted from BillyPilgrim:Ha! Yeah, plugged it in and my wife said immediately, “Hey, there’s a countdown timer here now!” It must have been unplugged since we got it, I don’t know how I missed that.
Mine was the same. I'm asking for a glue gun for xmas.
Quoted from zaphX:I do not force restart but I do hammer start from the match sequence.
I almost always skip the videos during gameplay as quickly as I can.
For me the video problem seems to manifest after it has been running a few hours in attract mode.
Same.
I have never forced a restart, but usually start a new game before match sequence is finished. I'm about 50/50 with watching mode start clips.
My friend has an early build, running same code, but has a different motherboard and is not having these issues. Could that be something to look at?
Quoted from epthegeek:New question for the guys who have issues with the video dropping out -- do you trap up often? Trigger the "FACTS report?
Don't think I've ever held the flipper long enough to get status report.
Had mine on for a few hours and hasn't had any issues tonight with the attract clips.
I did disconnect the sub and hooked it to an external Polk sub to lessen the vibration/rattling. Coincidental?
Had stage three of pickle rick freeze up again. Restarted and later had a game reset during Get Schwifty.
Quoted from gliebig:Anyone else have a single blindingly bright LED stuck on? I just put a new board in and still have the same LED stuck on.
[quoted image]
Bumps. Any ideas. My retinas are burning.
Quoted from Waldo:that’s super cool. Been looking at those tables. You like em?
Love it.
Quoted from zaphX:To me the problem was venting. My cabinet did not have sub ports on the bottom. It had one air vent on the back, and I believe it was insufficient for the airflow the sub was generating. When you can feel the air being pushed around the flipper buttons, it tells me there is too much pressure going on in there.
It's not air pressure, It's Blim Blam trying to escape.
BLIM BLAM (resized).jpgQuoted from JustEverett:I think what you are referring to are the dimensions. Dimensions are currently my favorite thing to chase in the game. Last I read in the tilt forum there are 25. One deactivates the pop bumper, some don’t affect any mechanics of the game but change scoring. Last night I got to the black ops mode. The entire pf goes black then when the lights come back on there is nothing but night vision green.
How many dimensions did you reach in one game? I keep seeing the same 3 or 4.
Quoted from MikeS:6.9 is the recommended pitch by Scott Danesi. I run mine about 7.2 though.
6.9 is perfect for 2players.
Quoted from LouMatt:Not needed...they don't erase with an update.
All my scores and settings got erased.
Quoted from WolfManCat:Had my first game on the new code. Really nice.
Rick congratulated me on a good game, said "you played like you live in Blips & Chitz"
I replied back, "Well, these days, I kind of do.."
[quoted image]
I like your style, bitch.
20201210_215641 (resized).jpgQuoted from Coindork:Did you have an issue updating it?
I had a bad download (internet sucks here) a couple updates ago. Had to reinstall and it set everything back to factory settings.
On a clean update it should save all your scores and settings.
I did. Mine failed a few times then I borrowed a friends usb with the code he loaded on it.
Last night, I pushed my flipper rubbers down a hair (too far and you will get some airballs), took two screws out of the garage rail and adjust my upper flipper a smidge. Next game... I set a GC.
Didn't really think my garage shot was that difficult before, but wanted to try it with the screws removed. Significant difference. Ball was flying up into the garage.
OoooWeee
Quoted from Alamo_Pin:How much is the shaker integrated into this game?
I love having the shaker on games like TNA, MET, and GB, but find it totally unnecessary on games like Deadpool and IMDN.
It’s almost time for my build sheet and I’m leaning against ordering a shaker.
I don't know what it is, but the only shakers I like are on my JJP's. They have a nice mellow, controlled rumble to them. Every other game I have a shaker on, it's just an annoying jackhammer feeling.
Screen looks fine to me....fan isn't too loud to me....
I dunno, seems like every page lately is people making a big deal over non issues.
Quoted from mariobeans:This was my first NIB, but a part of the reason why I got into pinball was to learn to fix and troubleshoot something new. I also enjoy building racing drones and modding game consoles
What is a good off-the-shelf, bang-for-the-buck racing drone?
Quoted from Backside_Slide:Did you have to ask spooky for the new shooter lane wire form?
Bought it from pinball life
Quoted from SpookyLuke:We have a literal boat load of improvements being tested, ordered, and designed. Processes being changed and improved. Sourcing higher quality parts. Additions to the building and equipment. The best of the best of our people are learning quality control to supervise individual departments and add layers to gameplay testing. (Almost everything mentioned) from power supply noise, to standup targets, to flippers, to flipper switches, to rollover switches, and about 25 more things. We have bullet lists of things we are fixing and checking off. We have a whole team of people way smarter than me working on flipper issues that include a crazy array of factors from physical, code, PROC. We just got custom felt protectors that fit under the leg completely we hope will end any chance of leg damage ever again. Tests are promising. These things takes months to even arrive let alone test properly for production. Even already looking to improve our launch day process to be as fair and customer friendly as possible.
Rick and Morty was a big step for us in an industry with BIG shoes to fill. We have doubled production over the course of this year fighting multiple Covid shutdowns (some for months). This isn't meant to be an excuse for our failings but simply letting you know that we listen and we have so many good things coming this year.
Don't forget to have fun.
-Rick.
Quoted from guitarded:Bill o'Lading says palleted at 340.
Is that with or without the 2" of snow on top?
Quoted from GrimDog:Anybody have this issue? Tried reseating the connectors and it’s still not working.
Mine has two LED's stuck on and blindingly bright, so I have it unplugged. Tried a new board, but same issue. Not sure what to look at next.
Quoted from ziz:I installed that new launch wireform and it is so much better than the original. I was never able to dial the old one in, it always sometimes went around the u-turn. And even when it served it correctly it wasn’t always the same exact launch and the power setting needed made for a bit of a slow launch, which is unfortunate for a game where you launch so many times due to ball saves. With the new one I was able to pump up the power and it delivers the ball so quickly, and drops it the same exact way every time. It has made the loop and garage shots way more consistent to hit now that the serve is always exactly the same.
My ship bracket just broke again, that’s number two. If I could buy a permanent fix for that I will feel like I’ve got a perfect machine. No other issues at all at this point, love the game so much! It is playing so smoothly now, no flipper problems either, it’s wonderful.
I agree. My launches are now perfect.
Why are the new wireforms no longer made?
Quoted from Flynnyfalcon:My 6 year old boy plays my pinnys more often than I get the chance to. Should I not care about all the fucking curse words like shit fuck and cunt?
Leave cursing set to 100%. Give the kid an edge when he goes back to school.
Quoted from JohnDeere:I finally got around to adjusting the EOS switches from the recommendations and with the new code my flippers are now amazing. Had no idea how much of a change it would have. Feels overall way more solid on the default settings with the small EOS adjustment. I could probably do a tad more of a bend but its a huge change already. Thanks for the update
Is there a specific post number on here that you referenced for the adjustments?
Adjusted my EOS switches yesterday. Thought I had it after the first game, then my left flipper starts showing the same issues...droopy/getting knocked down.
I play a few games on RM then flipped on a Johnny Mnemonic that I just pulled from a neighbors basement that has never been shopped/hardly played for years. Played it for a few hours and the flippers were perfect.
I love RM, but I just don't get why these flippers are so flakey.?
My TNA and ACNC do not have any flipper issues.
Tilt sensitivity.
I have to nudge my game pretty good to get a tilt warning, but many times it will tilt out while handling it like a baby after the first warning.
I do enjoy the tilt callouts very much, but only if they are warranted.
Any ideas on adjustments?
Quoted from BMore-Pinball:If you want a more sensitive tilt, raise tilt bob up
Mine isn't sensitive, you really have to nudge hard to get a warning. It's just that after the first warning, I could pretty much trap up and wait for the incoming full tilt.
Quoted from epthegeek:It’s got de-bounce, it’s even adjustable in the settings up to more than 6x as long as default if you want. If it didn’t it would be warning-warning-tilt REAL FAST.
Pretty sure I have that adjusted to the max and I still...
ah, f*(# it, I'll just adjust my bob.
Quoted from Calfdemon:I finally got around to installing the X-spacers yesterday and like everyone else said, game changer. The difference in how it shoots (for the better) is remarkable. I dialed my lower flipper power down from the stock 25 to 20 and it still has plenty of power. I left the upper at the stock setting of 20 though. I am not getting any airballs off of that flipper, so no need to dial it down.
Now I just need to find the time to finally put in my Mantis garage hold protector...
Did my spacers and garage protector yesterday. Only had time to get one game on it afterwards.
Quoted from LouMatt:A snake jazz dimension would be awesome. Snake Jazz playing, every target you hit makes a 'SSSSSS' sound. Awesome.
Oooo-weee, I sure wish I could have that.
Quoted from jonesjb:I just noticed the light show when successfully completing the Anatomy Park mode the giant floating dead guy explodes. Very cool! I've had this pin for well over a year, and never noticed it before (maybe I'm not that good to have completed it many times).
I've never completed that mode.
Quoted from Flynnyfalcon:Just an FYI, I wiped my high scores with the code update and I believe my settings. Worth saving them before updating.
How do you save them?
Quoted from Flynnyfalcon:I assumed Spooky had a method ala Stern.
I just rolled the dice and everything carried over.
Quoted from Jigz:Your CMOS battery appears to have died on the motherboard.
https://soldmy.org/pin/rm/battery-replacement/
Got it. Thanks
And yes, I did put the wife's name as ball fondler champ.

That Jerry ramp shot ain't easy. Sure as hell doesn't feel like a cheat mod, but it is fun when you make it. I think it's cool adding another shot to the game, especially since those targets aren't really fun shots to begin with.
Quoted from JustEverett:The whole point of the standups seems to be forcing the player into a bit of chaos. Will the ball ricochet back to the pop? Will it go to the sling? Adding an out is definitely a cheat mod. I do think it's a really cool and well executed mod, but I don't understand why anyone would think a modification that significant that makes the game easier is not a cheat mod.
ok.
