GOOD JOB
Quoted from Mr_Frog:69...NICE.[quoted image]
77 is better.
It’s like 69 but you get ate more.
I’m just really happy that one of the first owners is an active participant here giving us good content and updates to read. I’m really excited about this game and these are the kind of posts I want to read that help fuel my excitement.
I think its awesome that modes will be added as code develops etc.
It gives you something to always look forward to and keeps the game fresh.
Quoted from northerndude:I can't have ragrets, If I don't go Kalaxian Crystan Color Matched Coin Door, i'll be kicking myself big time.
Color coin door < blow jobs.
Quoted from Azmodeus:Now flipping at ayce Gogi in so cal. To be enjoyed tomorrow by myself and the on tilt league, but if you live nearby-It is Now playing. Very nice!
[quoted image]
I’m in Long Beach working for the next two days. Went and hit up 82 tonight, now in an uBer back to my hotel.
Going to hit up Ayce Gogi tomorrow night, can’t wait.
Quoted from goingincirclez:Hmm... I'm honestly a little aback at how that would be seen as a confrontational insult? I didn't mean "pom-pom sisboombah" cheerleader but more like... the cheerleading that comes from parents and/or family relatives supporting and promoting their kids but holding them accountable. That's the role I'm personally more accustomed to as a parent with pinball on the side, so that's where my headspace was. To me being properly involved as a "cheerleader" who still holds kids (or whomever) accountable to their failures and improvement opportunities is very far from an insult. "Coach" would be a better term for that action, also implies a degree of vetted / hired authority that doesn't apply here. So if that helps you understand where I was coming from, it sounds like we are actually on the same page.
If I were anywhere close to Madison, I'd be there to participate and happily get my ass kicked in a round of R&M by you. FWIW I visited Madison a couple times just before moving south and even then it was one of the coolest towns I'd ever visited, so I'm always amused to see it such an epicenter of a hobby I only discovered years later.
Many of the people who were the first to get machines are in effect trusted individuals and locations that serve as beta testers for bugs and what not.
This sort of level of hands on is an excellent thing in my opinion.
Spooky is in my opinion the mosts hands on company in the industry and really connects with their clients. Having this kind of open line of communication with customers that are going to be constuctinve and help in the process is going to be huge to help the code get “polished quicker” and get any bugs sorted out. Other locations are doing similar things to do their part and report back to Spooky any bugs in the code or adjustments they had to make to the machine. Here is a pucture of a message on the wall next to the Rick and Morty at Ayce Gogi. This sort op open line of communication between Spooky and thier client will help insure that as time goes on games will be coming off the line with issues fixed that were discovered early.
I think it’s a great thing.

To elaborate a little on the copious amount of streaming.
I think this is a good thing, especially early on. If the stream is being recorded than there is documented evidence of any bug that occurs that can be gone back and examined.
Not to mention that when you are playing a game, you might not notice a bug because you are following the ball on the play field and not looking up at the screen when said bug occurred.
Having a bunch of eyes on a game during a stream is a good thing, especially early on.
This will be really helpful in getting things sorted out quicker.
Quoted from Atrain:I love the name changes to the club!
Me too.
I almost didn’t recognize the thread this morning and was like “oh damn” and scrolled back up.
Quoted from epthegeek:Remember to click like and subscr... wait, I mean the "Favorite" star!
I did that ages ago
Quoted from Parzival:Had a few drinks the other night and decided I needed to order 13 cans of Pickle Rick pringles off eBay[quoted image]
Awesome.
That’s sounds like something I would do while drinking.
Quite often packages show up and my wife asks “what did you order now”?
Quoted from Our_Man_in_Oz:Guys I'm officially in the club as at today! What a difference 24 hours can make. I'm glad I posted yesterday. Fellow local member nettek contacted me informing me he was keen to sell his spot #354. We were able to literally sort it all over night. Big ups to him for making my day! Now the wait begins. I'm personally hoping there's some exchange rate recover in the meantime.
Congratulations.
Kind of jonesing for some new Rick and Morty episodes.
I hope they roll out some more of season 4 soon.
Quoted from toyotaboy:dam you corona![quoted image]
Yeah, my wife just showed me this.
Rick and Mortys can wait.
Stay safe everybody, stay healthy.
Quoted from dnapac:My wife just put up a 15 million and then an 11 million game. Now I need new code so I can reset those score
Ha. My wife gets pissed when I update games and her scores get wiped.
Quoted from FuryosJustin:The latest episode of super awesome pinball show is worth a listen. Charlie Emery is the guest presenter with some good information including that games are still in production during the lock down, maybe up to #120 and details on licensing with adult swim, among other titbits, and hints about the Ben heck cgc game
Got a link?
Thanks
Quoted from Pinball-Obsessed:It’s a great interview with Charlie Emery, tons of info.
Very lengthy, I’ll have to finish it tomorrow.
Agreed. Listened to it last night before I went to bed. Really great podcast and a great distraction (which I needed).
Quoted from docquest:Nice!
Since you have access to #'s 4,5, and 63 you are in a unique position. It would be interesteing to see if the later built one shoots differently than the two earlier ones. Or if you took a look at some of the guide rails if they were all set the same or not.
I read that as number 63, 64 and 65.
Maybe I’m wrong, but I would think they are sequential and all built the same.
Quoted from garretswinning:Bug announces fang club member videos soon to members only and video walkthrough of the shop before shutdown.
Awesome. Been jonesing for some new Spooky content.
Quoted from trilogybeer:This is what I am doing for a pingulp.[quoted image]
Ooowee, that looks awesome.
I want one.
Quoted from delt31:As a future owner, I like the idea of helping others but it's just killing my enjoyment of this thread. Maybe open a technical thread for RM adjustments?
I want to hear about code updates and things to look forward to in this game.
.... And let's get that evil Morty song back in.
I’m with you on this one. I keep seeing all these new posts and get excited to see what’s going on.
All the bickering is driving me nuts.
Quoted from metallik:The site is fine; their HTTPS certificate just expired. Click thru the warnings to see the site. I expect the cert will get renewed ASAP once they figure it out.
I was just about to say that looks like an expired cert. No big deal.
Meanwhile I’m patiently waiting for the shop to open back up and machines starting to get built again.
I can’t friggin wait.
Damn COVID
Quoted from Pinball-Obsessed:Things that go bump in the night the Spooky Pinball documentary.
This is now available to watch for Amazon prime members...
amazon.com link »
Such a great story, it just makes you appreciate everything about Spooky Pinball.
Awesome, going to watch it with the wife.
Thanks for sharing.
Quoted from FuryosJustin:So the lock in the coin door is reference to a ACNC with a loose lock, and they didn't want the game because..... Is that correct?? I think I remember that
If so that's so fitting for r&m, getting all meta up in there
Yeah, some dudes game arrived where the screw had come loose on the lock and he threw a fit because he couldn’t figure out how to close the coin door.
It was a really bizarre “Veruca Salt” sort of moment where she was screaming she wanted an Umpa Lumpa.
After that pretty much everybody that received a game (myself included) took pictures of the inside of their coin doors to show their locks were ok. It was pretty hilarious.
Quoted from wesman:As the owner of a company, is mocking the guy really taking the high road, though? If it's a shitty customer, it's a shitty customer. Humiliating them seems far worse, than someone having an irrational complaint.
Either deal with it tactfully, or refuse to deal with it, and deny their absurd request. Publicly shaming someone, over and over again, feels pretty classless to me.
Anytime I see this subject bandied about as a joke, it has me feeling Spooky isn't entirely as professional as I'd hope they could be.
Why do people preface stuff with “I own a company”?
Without knowing what company someone owns and how they run it, that statement means nothing. There are pleanty of companies out there that are run like crap and they are all owned by someone.
That said, I own a company.
I would tell you that 90%+ of you problems come from 10% or less of your customers. They also eat up more of your time, in turn not allowing you to service other costumers or do other business.
In short, if you can cut out the bullshit and problem customers you will run a more affective and successful business.
There are time to be polite and courteous, and there are also time when I have told a client never to contact me again and I don’t want their money.
Life is too short.
Quoted from rai:That's like saying "David Hasselhoff doesn't sing."
He is huge in Germany.
Quoted from iepinball:My cameras were setup on WOZ right next to it so no, no video
It was a phenomenal game though. 9 adventures (I've set it to start with zero) and I was actively avoiding lighting the last one as I didn't want the 10th adventure crash with the score I had.[quoted image]
Damn......
Quoted from FYMF:Happy to report I got the email today.
#34 Buttercab being shipped on Monday along with an Alice Cooper Topper.
So
So so close.
Same here #47 Butter Cabinet.
Quoted from FYMF:Fooookin noice! Congrats as well.
This is the shit I want to be reading in here.
Feels good man
Yeah, for sure.
I’m pretty friggin stoaked.
Congrats as well.
Quoted from WolfManCat:Thanks Spooky! First time I got one my boys to play pinball for more than five minutes. Whole family is loving this one. We played for hours and even threw in a few other games.
[quoted image]
That’s awesome that’s your boys are checking it out.
Hopefully they dug it and it acts to bridge them into some of the other games.
Quoted from mpdpvdpin:Sometimes all it takes is a sick pin with the right theme to reel em in! I miss seeing kids get pumped about pinball at my location.
Yep, that’s what we found in our house.
Our kids would occasionally play, but more often watch us play.
The newer machines with video screens is really what bridged them into playing just about anything.
When we first brought a WOZ into the house, the kids couldn’t play it enough.
Getting good at that, got them comfortable playing the other machines.
Now my 9 and 11 year olds are telling me what shots to make when I’m playing. They pick up on rules way faster than I do now.
We had a work party at the house back in October and my daughter was going around explaining how to play each machine to people. It was pretty cool.
Quoted from FYMF:Delivery between noon and 4 PM tomorrow.
And these amazing fuckers think I'll be able to sleep hah!
Ha, you’re going to be up all night pacing back and forth like a crack fiend waiting for the dealer to show.
Quoted from FYMF:Delivery between noon and 4 PM tomorrow.
And these amazing fuckers think I'll be able to sleep hah!
Didn’t your game just ship on Monday?
If so, that’s damn fast.
Quoted from FYMF:Shit. Shit.. Shit... damn.
I want to see this. A much more sober version of me earlier cranked up profanity and turned on all atteact mode features after installing code.
Shit. Damnit man. Awww fuck. If I turn it on to see this attract my stupid drunk ass will play it and well. Not Cool.
Whatever. See you guys on the flip side while sober and admiring all your sweet sweet unboxings.
Happy Friday night.
Quoted from TheGunnett:Fed Ex called me to schedule delivery for later this week and if a tractor trailer could access my home. I asked where the game was currently and their depot with 30 minutes away.[quoted image][quoted image]
Get’er done
I just got off the phone with the delivery company and my machine is due to arrive Friday between noon and five.
Quoted from TheGunnett:#76 is home and is being bolted to the floor.
[quoted image]
Damn............
That looks awesome!
Quoted from docquest:Correct, but that art was given to spooky way before season 4.
So I was curious if anyone else was wondering why they featured Rick with a ladle of green stuff.
Because every Rick has a vat of acid.
Quoted from Coindork:I am officially within my delivery window of 12-5 today.
Balls, the delivery company just called and rescheduled for Monday.
Quoted from metallik:Already been done... "Dirty pool old man!"
Also “You cheat Dr. Jones”.
I haven’t really heard this discussed yet.
Has anyone else changed their attract mode for Interdimensional cable?
I was going through my settings and turned mine on. So far I’ve seen the episode of how a plumbus is made.
Not sure how many different there are yet.
Friggin cool ass feature.
Quoted from Coindork:I haven’t really heard this discussed yet.
Has anyone else changed their attract mode for Interdimensional cable?
I was going through my settings and turned mine on. So far I’ve seen the episode of how a plumbus is made.
Not sure how many different there are yet.
Friggin cool ass feature.
Also just saw the one for Two Brothers.
Looks like there are five things from Interdimensional cable in the attract mode:
Blips and Chits - commercial
Two Brothers - trailer
How they do it - Plumbus
Ants in my eyes Johnson - commercial
Turbulent Juice - commercial
Hoping they ad How Did I Get Here and the Eyehole Man
Quoted from Dantesmark:Really?
I want to see that beautiful artwork...but maybe im just a wierdo.[quoted image]
To be fair that image appears to be taken before a ball is plunged.
There is a setting that turns off all the main GI and only light the skill shot during a plunge, which is what this appears to be.
I own the game and second the opinion it does not need additional lighting.
Quoted from Pdxmonkey:I’m looking to switch the captive ball behind the flobble crank to something more noticeable.
Maybe even trimming away some plastic to expose it. Anyone have any suggestions on ball replacements?
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, neat idea.
Maybe a glow ball that’s similar color to the microverse?
Quoted from razorsedge:I noticed these are described as being "Not glow-in-the-dark" ... despite being called "Fluorescent pinball Glo-Balls™".
The others look cool though, especially the Pearl White glow in the dark, takes on the surrounding light colour.
Is there not a brand that does actually glow in the dark?
I’ve never put a colored ball in a machine other than putting a white ball as the egg captive ball in my Data East Jurassic Park, so never looked too far into it.
Normally I would think colored balls are tacky, but in this case it seems like it would work really well.
Quoted from razorsedge:Yes it seems the second link in that post does supply "Glow in the dark" balls.
http://modmypin.com/
They state that the white glowing balls take on the colour of surrounding light.
I guess the question now is which color?
Hot pink or green?

Quoted from scorche:Final payment paid for #120 if folks are trying to keep track.
Sweet, another one coming to Arizona.
Congrats.
Quoted from delt31:Kaneda is helping this community tremendously. Let’s see. He single handily FIXED the loop shot. He got the target decals to be much higher quality. Those are two big ones.
So Kaneda adjusted the loop shot on my game one handed.
Neat.
Quoted from guitarded:He also invented The Cobb Salad.
That’s remarkable.
I invented time travel.
The only problem I’m having with it at the moment is that I can only go forward in time (and it’s rather slow).
My stock game looks better than either of those bull shit comparisons.
Second photo taken for context at a fucked up view from a high angle (same games, same settings). I suppose if your 9 foot tall or higher this would matter.
FCB16111-5C3A-4B52-B4E4-88E36FD53C2B (resized).jpeg7EC0B6C7-1A37-48FD-8EF7-5FDF08193D8B (resized).jpegQuoted from NeilMcRae:for those who don't want to replace the screen sharing those settings would be welcome.
all I can tell you is that after 3 buddies played my TNA at a comp at my house, they all went home and ordered a new screen. Like anything if you are happy then that's all that matters but those folks saying there is no difference please stop, there is absolutely a difference. If someone shares the model number of the screen I'll get the facts from the manufacturer about the limitations of the screens. TNA probably shows this more because of its low frame and lower angled backbox. I'll be honest with you when I'm playing I'm not looking at the screen but lots of folks are and in a four player where you have folks all over the room it absolutely shows.
It’s literally just adjusting brightness and contrast. The board is labeled as to which is which.
There’s no “settings” to share.
It will give you a toggle menu and you can adjust the percentages.
Just adjust it lighter or darker as per your own personal preference.
After that adjust the contrast.
Push the second button that says “menu”.
Select brightness - then set it to your liking.
Then select contrast - set it to your liking.
There is a second option which is spending a bunch of money on a new screen that you don’t need.
9461EF48-91FB-40C9-92D7-5E75E0EFC4BB (resized).jpeg6D3B5E15-5CF5-4CC0-8CBC-65F70F9A4ED2 (resized).jpegI think it’s going to take time for this to settle in and find it’s place in the rankings.
Let’s be honest, more or less there are only 100 or so machines out there at the moment. Couple that with peoples inability to play it, either from lack of machines on location (for now), locations not being open etc. etc. give it time and people will play it and review it.
I’ve read all the reviews people have left thus far, some good, some bad. Some are from fans, some are from haters. Some are from people who have clearly played the machine and left quite insightful reviews. Some reviews are left by people whom I’m not sure have even played it and left a review based on what they saw on a stream or what they think about the layout. It’s very strange and I’m not sure I understand some of those reviews at all, or why someone would review a pin they have never played.
The one thing I do think is true is that as these machines get out in the world people that did not get one are going to play it and realize they missed out.
Give it time and people will figure it out.
The game is addictive and fun as hell as it is now. Code is still in the early stages and it’s already really good. Once more adventures get added this game is going to friggin Rock even more.
I feel very fortunate to have gotten one and think this is a very special game.
Quoted from Shapeshifter:Watched slut dragon episode - man, it will be funny if it makes an appearance
Almost fell out of my chair laughing the first time I saw it.
Crossing my fingers the Woolly Mammoth gets incorporated into the game.
Quoted from TheBEAVR:Put some purple Titans on R&M and grabbed a few shots. Sizes are now set in their database and custom kits can be created with ease.
https://www.titanpinball.com/kits/index.php/browse/bygame/5747?fbclid=IwAR0y2ppGy7GhLQmec-mH5Znp7QdfKQACb3z-u5P2IgOaR4tqwWheZnflXT4
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Lookin good.
My man.
Ok, so how many of you have been playing your Rick And Morty a bunch and then go to play another pins and tried to use the magna save?
I’ve caught myself doing this a few time now on other pins. God damn I love that feature.
Quoted from Kevlar:Is anyone else getting the odd machine reboot? if it's just me then it's definitely a problem with my machine ( obviously ) although I haven't been able to find a cause so far ( with Luke and Eric's help ). It's not a regular occurrence, 5 times in 2 weeks and about 200 plays but once is too many as the machine can't be replied upon for a comp.
We have put several 100s of plays on our machine since we got it.
We have basically played every day, multiple time a day since we got it.
Twice the machine has reset and gone into a full power cycle mid game (similar to what you described).
On both occasions it was during Meeseeks multiball. I’m not sure if I was in another demention at the time or not (caught up in the game).
I have a USB drive ready to dump the game log in the event this happens again, but haven’t been able to replicate it yet.
I have since installed the new code and not had any kind of problem.
Anyhow, if you have an issue try to document it.
I’m obsessed with this game and really impressed with how the code is developing. Can’t wait for the next update (even though we just got one).
One of the way they will be able to fix any issues with the code, is to be made aware of them (that’s where the users and owners can help).
The code so far is awesome, can’t wait for new adventures to get added.
Quoted from KingofGames:Maybe a stupid question.
Will i have a probleem with the power suply in europe? Since we use 220 volt instead of 110.
I would assume European games are being shipped set up for 220, but maybe one of the European members that already received a machine can answer that.
Most modern power supplies it’s just a switch anyway.
It’s not like the old days when you would have to change the pinout on a transformer.
Quoted from TomGWI:Pure genius
[quoted image]
Yep, I laughed pretty frickin hard the first time I saw that
Family has all been playing Rick and Morty all day and was able to successfully recreate the meeseeks mania reset.
It was in fact in tandem with another dimension.
Backed up the audits on a USB drive and will send it to Eric after the weekend.
And now back to playing Pinball and drinking beer.
C05359DC-8536-4AAB-AEDC-D1BF97051072 (resized).jpegQuoted from Yelobird:My Guess is the shooter lane switch isn’t actuating properly or a trough switch. Should only be one ball at a time ever.
Yep, make sure the switch in the shooter lane isn’t slightly bent and getting stuck.
Also, try turning up the coil strength in the settings for the auto launch.
Quoted from ziz:Sometimes the ball wont make it out of the shooter lane even when it’s one ball, so I think it happens in multi ball when there are multiple ball saves and the first ball doesn’t clear the exit. It pops the second ball from the trough while the first ball is coming back down. Maybe I just need to up the power and then deal with the exit issues with a rubber on the wire form.
Also, Luke made a pretty good video on how to adjust your entry rail wire form.
I tweaked mine a little bit and works great.
Quoted from ziz:Thanks for the replies, will tinker with it a bit tomorrow. I appreciate the help!
I have had the game for a few days and I am loving it!
The game is fantastic.
The only reason I’m not playing it right now is that my wife is hogging it.
Quoted from Yelobird:Maybe your treating her to nicely and she likes the call out abuse? Lol
LOL, she’s determined at the moment.
All of her scores got wiped off the board on the 4th. Am expecting at any moment for her to come tell me she beat one of my scores.
Quoted from scorche:#120 has finally come home!

Awesome, one more in Arizona
Quoted from MikeS:Have you checked all the connectors, made sure the game is on free play, etc. I wouldn't stress about it. Spooky support is great if you need them!
I was just about to say to go into the settings and make sure the game is on free play after the code update.
Quoted from littlecammi:I hate the dimension where I won't get my game until mid-2021. And it's the one dimension I'm stuck in.
At least that’s better than the dimension where you don’t get a game at all.
Quoted from frankmac:Spooky Combo

Spooky trio
Now to find me a nice HUO TNA.
Quoted from Pinball_Freak:R&M build sheet sent soon to be 5, sweet.[quoted image]
Well done sir.
Quoted from LoneStarPinball:No It seems he's the leader of the decepticons, not a punk rocker.
He can still be the leader of a gang of evil robots and listen to Punk Rick.
Quoted from tarzxvf:Are they building them out of order? If all the AUS exports are shipped together - you have to wait until the very last one is ready?
I hear portals spin in the opposite direction in Australia, so anything is possible.
Quoted from northerndude:OMFG, I got to pick my own adventure. I know, I know the score blows chunks as I even got a Second extra ball in there, but it was so cool. I picked Roy then drained . But I got one stamp on a fresh second card. [quoted image][quoted image]
Awesome.
I actually haven’t got that far in the game as of yet. Eight is the most card stamps I’ve gotten so far.
Our starting card stamp setting is 3.
Quoted from ThePinballCo-op:Have I never noticed these hairy bug nuts? I own the game. How have I not realized this?
And now I can't take my eyes off of it. It's like a cruel joke Scott is playing on me. Damn you, Scott "Bug Nuts" Danesi.
#GromflomiteNutz
Did Rick and Morty sample Return of the Jedi?
My wife and son were watching Jedi this morning and noticed this.
The scream the guy makes when he falls into the Sarlac pit at 0.57 in the video appears to be the same scream from the scream dimension.
I walked in the room to find my wife and son rewind it and laughing repeatedly.
Quoted from FatPanda:That's the Wilhelm scream.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilhelm_scream
Lol, gotcha.
I’m not sure that I can play this now without thinking about the Sarlac pit eating someone. Lol
Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:RAM is starting to Rise Up. At least in the world of Pinside where it ranks in the Top20. Time will tell how it turns out, but more importantly a lot more ratings are needed before this is considered legit.[quoted image]
More people need to rate the standard edition, which for all practical gameplay purposes is the same game. Then they get linked together in a “game group” with cumulative points ratings.
Quoted from Makakka:You can start every mode without finishing anything prior. That is the first code layer.
Btw In the May podcast from poorman Mr. Priepke said wizard mode „not yet“. So maybe this year.
Being able to start a mode in that manner is a setting. Not embedded in the code.
Also, in my opinion I think Eric is doing a great job with how the code is being developed. All the kinks and bugs are getting worked out at the beginning.
More content and adventures are being added as time goes on. I am absolutely thrilled with where the code is at this point in time.
Actually I prefer it this way as I always have something to look forward to when new code comes out and content is added. The game can continually remain fresh with new adventures.
Quoted from Makakka:Nothing to critisize atm but there is no certainty on code development it can stop any second the examples are endless. If everything runs like you say future seasons will be coded in that may happen that may not happen.
Ok, but now you’re waxing theoretical situations.
It’s also possible that the sun will not rise tomorrow.
I guess we will have to wait and see.
Quoted from Makakka:Yes indeed but not only stern. The masters of code deepness sit at jjp kaneda framed it negatively (as always) as „hidden code“ deep code is „hidden code“. RM rn has flat code no matter if there are 5 or 20 complex creative first layer modes.
And yes with the current code style this is not the game for me I wouldn’t even play it. If my nr. 357 arrives with no second layer I would leave it unboxed and if I lose all hope for a second layer I would flip it.
Btw if you look at YouTube what attracts viewers and what creators emphasize on is wizard mode the „wizard mode“ titles „xx pin xx points with WIZARD mode“.
Have you played this game yet?
Quoted from Whysnow:I like everything except game ends. That was part of TNA storyline but does not fit w R&M IMHO. I think you get a crazy super wiz mission and then card stays lit green but you can do another level for more points and strategy on multiplied points based on what you pic.
Or maybe choice of 4 super duper modes/missions that are tweaked/timed rules from previous level of missions *like Lyman did on MET style
*** give me leaderboards for these modes also please
Maybe at the end you could go to boobworld.

Quoted from RandomGuyOffCL:I will when they stop showing up to my house hella sweaty joking about my wife’s tits in their native tongue while trying to charge me $800 for a new garage door spring!
I believe comments like this require you to post a picture of your wife’s tits so that we can judge if your overreacting or not.
Quoted from RandomGuyOffCL:I’m sorry but that would be a violation of pinside rules which Trumps my 20/20 vision of what pinside should be
I believe it’s worth you getting an infraction from the mods
Quoted from Kkoss24:So how good is this pin ?? I promised my 2 boys they get next picks on pins .I had an opportunity to purchase downstroke on a Bloodsuckers that was due by Christmas that would’ve gave me enough time to get $ together.I was talking w nice guy selling and told him I needed till next morn to see if my 2 boys would agree to combine on it .Took them kayaking next day n they agreed but when we got back it was sold now I’m wondering what we missed out on .Please tell ...as if I go after another it will cost me more I’m on the fence .
How old are your boys? And do they watch the show?
Quoted from Kkoss24:They’re 11 n 12 .Yeah I know ,but they are both honor roll students n never in trouble .I watched Ted with them the other night I’m not a fan of hiding stuff I’d rather have them ask me than find out the facts of life from a group of kids Lmao
Gotcha.
So they watch the show then?
If so and they are into the show and into pinball there is no way they would not be into it. Them integration is incredibly well done.
A lot a cursing in the game but that can be adjusted in the setting to however you feel comfortable with it.

Starting to wonder if you ever sleep.
Quoted from Jherre6:Semi false alarm. That right flipper button with the plastic extender piece. It needs so much adjusting.
There is also one dimension where the left flipper controls the lower left flipper and the upper right flipper.
Confused the hell out of me first time I played it.
Friggin awesome.
Quoted from gliebig:Can't wait to see this. How often does it come up?
I got it for the first time on Saturday, so not sure.
Quoted from j_m_:I feel like a noob, but where is an image and proper documentation on how to update my game?
I'm assuming that I just copy the latest .pkg file and put it on a usb flash drive but which port does the flash drive go into? (an image on the spookypinball website would have been nice).
is there anything else that I need to do? (just cycle the power with the usb flash drive plugged in and the update will automatically occur? again, this information should be listed on their support page.
It’s pretty much the same as this video.
1) Turn the game off
2) Inset USB drive with current code and wait for update.
3) Turn machine off and remove USB drive.
They are recommending going through the steps twice.
Quoted from epthegeek:Here's something you could discuss: Anybody have ideas for good clips to use for collecting an extra ball (when you collect it, we already have the robot to serve it) or locking balls in the ship?
I've been over the show a few times looking for stuff and haven't really found the right thing. Found the slam save clip on one of those passes, but still don't have anything for those other two things though.
In Lawnmower Dog there is the scene with the trash truck full of human testicles (balls) the dogs have collected.
D8896468-4265-43F9-A761-57B7DDF2EB6E.gifQuoted from epthegeek:This one is hilarious.
Yeah, it’s pretty good.
It was just a subtle clip in that episode of the different things the dogs were doing when they took over mankind.
I’ll have to watch the episode again, but I believe there is a sound clip where Snowball (Snuffles), tells Morty that he is his favorite and he will let him keep his balls.
There’s a few other testicle jokes in there as well like when the doctor dog is holding the scissors threatening to neuter Jerry and he thinks he’s being threatened with a haircut.

One idea for a ball lock might be Michael and Pichael Thompson. They are Siamese twins attached at the side in a similar shape to the horseshoe ball lock. Could be a mode or ball lock where one side is Michael and one side is Pichael.
Quoted from epthegeek:I am now officially sorry I asked.
Yeah, maybe so.
Quite often things that I think sound good in my mind don’t translate well outside of my head.
Quoted from delt31:Great code moment.....beat blood dome and saw a shot flashing purple (after the mode completed). I hit it successfully and was greeted with a Mortal Kombat flawless victory nod along with morty doing a head ripper ala sub zero in mortal kombat. It was freaking awesome.
I haven’t beaten the Blood Dome (yet).
I will not mention this to my wife and let her discover it.
Going to download the new code today at the office.
We live out in the sticks so the the connection here sucks at the house and downloads take forever.
Will be installing it and playing tonight after work.
Quoted from northerndude:The screaming sun is THE BEST! That’s when you know you just scored an EB!
I laughed my ass off the first time the screening sun came up.
Quoted from Jherre6:Would it be possible to change the ball eject? Them popping into the shooting lane and having to stick a finger in there to pop it up is a little weird. I would hate to accidentally hit the gun and break it.
Would be nice if they popped out, then shot up to catch rolling down.
Buy a telescoping magnet.
It’s quite useful for balls that get stuck in random hard to reach places as well as picking up nuts and screw from the bottom of cabinets.

Quoted from oliviarium:#260 expected to be on a truck today!
Friggin awesome.
I just got really excited for you.
Quoted from gliebig:Some R&M designs on my sisyphus table...[quoted image][quoted image]
Been casually following that thread.
Looks fascinating.
Quoted from Flipper-airbrush:I love my rick and morty
Airbrush preparing for a stream this weekend
[quoted image][quoted image]
LOL, that's friggin hilarious.
Quoted from guitarded:His stuff is so nice.
I agree, the guy is really talented and does some really cool stuff.
Quoted from gonzo73:Hey guys, can someone take a picture of thier shaker motor and post it R&M of course. And where its mounted??
Is it hidden? I might be starring at it and not seeing it?
I might have a slight problem.
[quoted image]
[quoted image]
Send an email to Spooky.
They will make it right.
Quoted from Flipper-airbrush:Why? This is a machine, normaly you never sell.
I’m sure, in 3-4 years. You never found one again.
All people that sell this fantastic pinball, wish in few years, he never do that I’m absolutely sure.
And if I had the time, I do lots of things more. And why? Because I like it. And Im happy every time, when I look to the speaker panel and laugh.
I think my avengers between the rick and morty laugh too
[quoted image]
Keep doing what you do.
I think it’s awesome.
Quoted from Pinball-Obsessed:This is a great episode with Charlie Emery on the show and Jack danger. Charlie talks about how they’re going to hopefully be able to get all the Rick and Morty’s done earlier than they had planned… I think he said they may be done as early as April, May or June.
Also he mentioned they will probably be doing a TNA 2.0!!! Basically TNA on the line again with maybe some new features but same gameplay. Sweet!!!!
If you haven’t listened to this episode of super awesome pinball show check it out… It’s super awesome
https://podcast.app/the-super-awesome-pinball-show-e120399914/?utm_source=ios&utm_medium=share
Awesome.
I’ll give it a listen when I get into the office today.
I really hope they decide to do TNA 2.0.
I would be in on one for sure.
Quoted from xfassa:FYI. I still have a handful of the blue crystal mods in anyone is interested. The price is $55 shipped. Just send me a PM if you would like to purchase. Keep safe!
I’ll take one if you still have some.
Shooting you a PM now.
Quoted from snaroff:Just joined the club...#175. The pinball gods were shining on me...picked this up locally NIB. Spooky blanket wraps the butter cabinets to perfection. First time I've ever seen a "butter" cabinet. Really beautiful. The cabinet artwork is just stunning, and I like how it's unique on each side. Sweet.
Need to fiddle with the audio...sounds awful out-of-the-box (as others have discussed in this thread). Tried simply turning down the volume, but that didn't help much.
[quoted image][quoted image]
Nice George Rodrigue
Quoted from Jeroenos:Okay, I have never played the game and I have number 610. I own an acnc and if I compare it which one is more difficult? I have to make the decision to keep my place and the 25 percent price increase hurts. is she worth it ????
I own both.
These are completely different games in every aspect with the exception that they both have flippers.
While both can be hard, I think ACNC is the more brutal of the two.
Totally different games and I love them both for different reasons.
Don’t pay any attention to the negativity of some members here. Rick and Morty is fantastic. Although I love my ACNC, I friggin adore my Rick and Morty. It’s really an incredible game.
Being as you live in the Netherlands, I can’t imagine that many machines are going over there (or most of Europe for that matter).
If it were me, I would keep my spot (unless it’s a financial hardship).
I own a lot of machines and if I had to sell a bunch for some reason, this would be one of the last few to leave.
I’ve had my machine for a while now #37 and it’s still just as much of a thrill to play now as it was the day I got it.
Might you have to tweak a few things? Sure, but that’s pinball.
Cheers
Kent
If the EU tariffs do go away next year, I suppose the silver lining is that the Euro has gained strength in value against the U.S. dollar since the game was first ordered.
I.E. if the tariffs do go away, then the game will be cheaper than it would have been when you first put down a deposit.
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:#373 is on it's way! I am a bit annoyed I need to be home tomorrow receive delivery from the shipper... between 10:00 and 6:00 so I have to lose half a day of work, but that's not Spooky's fault. It's my first NIB and I'm excited! I should even get it before it rains agains so I can walk it down to my basement without having to wiat for mud to dry. In the mean time I'll try no to refresh the shipping update page... It's half way from Indiana to Maryland allready![quoted image]
The thing is your pin is probably on a truck making multiple deliveries and you are only one stop on their route that day.
Whenever I am having a machine delivered I ask them to have the driver call me 30 minutes before they are scheduled to arrive.
I basically just go into the office and when they call I head home to meet them fir my delivery.
They really don’t know how long all the other deliveries will take etc, which is why you get such a large window.
Done this multiple times with various game deliveries.
I suppose it helps that my office is only 10 minutes from my house.
Quoted from gliebig:All my scores and settings got erased.
Did you have an issue updating it?
I had a bad download (internet sucks here) a couple updates ago. Had to reinstall and it set everything back to factory settings.
On a clean update it should save all your scores and settings.
Quoted from Morinack:#427 is on its way. Shipped out today. Due 12/21
That’s rad.
You gonna open it up? Or wait till Christmas?
I never changed the garage shot on mine.
I like it just fine the way it is.
Might not be putting up some of the crazy scores other people are, but I’m having just as much fun.
I like game’s that are hard (even if they occasionally piss me off).
Quoted from Calfdemon:Wife called me from work and I just raced home. Day before my 51st, happy birthday to me. Shit just got real... I'll post more pics and an unboxing report later.
[quoted image]
Happy birthday!!!
Quoted from Calfdemon:The Beth, Jerry, Summer targets need a little adjustment to get them to register more. Only register on very hard shots right now.
The Beth, Jerry and Summer targets have a piece of foam behind them that needs to be broken in a little bit.
Mine was like this when I first got it.
It will do it naturally the more you play, but If you push them back and forth a little bit it softens up the foam and they work great after that.
Quoted from Gasoline:BSE #519 in the house! Arrived today and looking forward to setting it up this weekend with my buds!
Sound like you have an awesome weekend in store for you and your buddies.
Quoted from pinballinreno:(yes, Ive been drinking kirkland scotch...)
The wife picked some up on her last Costco run. It’s actually pretty good stuff.
Quoted from Pinstym:How crazy would it be to just start a thread for R&M flipper discussion? Heat probes, fans, all that stuff.
Make a post here with a link. Make it a key post. All the really intelligent people can go there and continue their hard work.
Modders have made their own R&M threads, and other games have threads for bugs and issues.
Why not? People will find it if they have issues.
Please?
For heavens sake, yes please.
Quoted from guitarded:Well Fuck.
Finally got my hands on the Updated Code and it won't install properly.
Now I have a "Update Required" Screen and no game to play.
I f'n hate computers. Brand new USBs. Properly formatted with nothing else on them...
Might be a good idea to have a USB that is loaded with the original code your machine ships with included / optional for purchase with your game.
It kinda sucks to have no game to play when this happens.
I feel your pain.
I live out in the sticks and our internet straight up sucks out here.
I download all my updates from work.
Quoted from damadczar:I started multiball and went to the fart dimension at the same time. OMG. I almost wet my pants, could barely play. My wife watching started giggling uncontrollably. It was glorious! Truly hilarious.
It’s crazy how many different combinations of adventure / dimensions there actually are. I’m not sure if anyone has actually figured out how many different combinations there theoretically are, but it’s a bunch. Not to mention whatever that number is you can basically double it for with or without multiball.
Pretty awesome and always keeps the game fresh.
Quoted from snaroff:Just played a dimension where the upper flipper is controlled by the left button...tough! Don't recall having a game I've played this much that still had cool modes/surprises. The flow is really spectacular when you are nailing the shots. Most fun/useful upper flipper of any game I've owned...so many awesome shots.
I’ve played that one a few times.
At first I was like “WTF”, then I was like “awesome”.
Cant wait to get it again when I’m a little more prepared fir it.
Quoted from Aniraf:So, I'm about 750 balls into the game and I've noticed just a little bit of a rough spot on the portal hole. I'm not a huge fan of the metal protector so I decided to design my own that more or less follows the same pattern I've had on my Cirqus Voltaire for many years. Via some 3D print magic and what I'm now realizing is a great filament I came up with this (pictures). It is a simple snap fit that is designed to lock into the hole with a very tiny "foot" which grips the bottom of the playfield. It takes about 20 minutes to install because you have to remove the house. In testing so far (5 games) it seems to work pretty great. I did get one "lip out" from a fast moving ball in the right orbit but I've also seen that without a protector so I have no way of knowing.
I'm curious to know the thoughts of the community. If this is something people are excited about I could print and ship them as well. I don't think they would be very expensive. [quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Oh, oh, oh....
I want one.
Would you pretty, pretty please make me one?
Are you doing tournaments again yet at the brew pub?
Would give me an extra reason to drive down that way
Quoted from nogoodnames222:Seems like the export standards all got some wonky configurations, they built them out of order and some weird stuff happened. This is going to confuse the hell out of collectors 20 years from now
Sort of line a standard Addams Family in a gold cabinet.
Pretty cool.
Quoted from pinballM:Wow man your pictures killed me
That's exactly what I thought BBB and R&M are UFOs
it's wonderful to put them together
I feel like Big Bang Bar is a place Rick might take Morty when he turns 21.
