Quoted from MikeS:I added a couple of pieces of beer seal foam
What is beer seal foam? Google just gives me pics of foamy beer.
Quoted from hawkmoon:SPOOKY,Will you please have these small things fixed!!!I have had it with buying a new pin and have to do modifications just to get the pin to play correctly!! Now pay attention here SPOOKY,these are the reasons we are going with SPOOKY,now, because Stern can't put out a pin that works from the factory! AP blew it with "Houdini" and "Willy Wonka" was not that good either!! Thanks!!
Quoted from JohnDeere:This reads like a Facebook post
A 50 y/o Karen facebook post.
Are there fuses in this pin? My left flipper and pop bumper don't work. All connections look good and I'm out of ideas.
Quoted from PinMonk:I'd reseat all the connections on the Node board, then. If it's still a problem, swap node boards 8 and 9 (being sure to set the dip switches to tell the boards they are now the opposite numbers) and see if that fixes your issue and maybe migrates the problem to something plugged into node 9 (not all outputs are used, so it may just fix the issue with no problems in the node 9 spot).
If the node board is confirmed to be the issue, borygard here on pinside fixes them. Cheaper than buying a new one.
Found it. Blown fuse in the upper board. I didn't notice the fuses behind their plastic protectors when I was looking earlier. Finally, I can play my first game!
Quoted from PinMonk:Can you take a picture of the fuse you took out? I don't have a spooky machine, but the diagram doesn't specify if they're full size or the short ones like WPC'95/Houdini, etc. Spooky documentation leaves a lot to be desired.
It's hard to get a good pic. It's just a 5 x 20mm. Says T4AL 250V
Quoted from Zablon:They need to fire whoever loaded those.
Whoever loaded it was just a couple of grunts doing what they were told. It was some brain dead supervisor trying to maximize space that made that call.
Quoted from snaroff:My flippers are resting on the bushing. Don't know what you are seeing.
Quoted from Whysnow:looks to be sitting high/ over top of bushing?
[quoted image]
snaroff is right. The bushings do sit too high. I tried to lower my flippers also and was not able to. Mine look exactly like his pics.
Quoted from PDX-Mike:Anyone know if Pinball Life is going to put the shooter lane wire form back on their website for sale?

Ask them yourself.
Quoted from BeeGeeMtl:The "bad news" is that after he left I noticed that I wasn't getting any Glomflomite multiballs. Like at all.
In fact, even though my shots are registering going through the horseshoe, I'm never told to "lock a ball" up there anymore. Like ever. Balls aren't getting locked up there anymore. Hence, can't get any Glomflomite multiballs, which clearly are required for the game.
Any idea what the problem may be?
Did your tech remove the captive ball and forget to put it back?
Those of you with black flipper bats, make sure you measure the tips to ensure that they are exactly 3mm and that you're using a 12" ruler to do so. This is very important.
Quoted from monitorpop:2 new in box have each sold for $13k+ in the last month. Used seems to be around $10k+ w/ one looking like it just sold for $11,500.
When I received mine last fall I put it up for sale for my cost because I hadn't played it yet. Thankfully I didn't get one bite on it, I love it now.
Quoted from arzoo:I'm guessing it's just a cheaper and less complex mechanism.
After the TNA lockdown bar, the latches are a welcome change.
Quoted from rdonohue13:Also my right speaker goes in and out sometimes.
I had the same problem with my left speaker so I reflowed the connections at the speaker and they've it's been good since.
