To anyone that was seen Season 4 of Rick and Morty, watch the new Twilight Zone, Season 2 Episode 9. Not going to say anything else, and I don’t recommend reading the synopsis. No spoilers.
Just watched it. Wow.
Has anyone had the game reset on them while playing? I had just finished Meeseeks Multiball and was about to start a mode and the game reset.

Yes, read the previous page of posts.

Throw a blank USB stick in the game to grab the log so I can see if it dumped anything useful.
I’m on vacation this week, but will be back to looking at it Tuesday.

Yes, Meeseeks resets your game when it realizes you aren't going to get the shots, finishing all all of them for you at once, and granting your Meeseeks wish. Unfortunately it also ends your game.

I don’t think this is true. I’ve not finished every shot in Meeseeks Multiball, and they end up beating the crap out of each other. Jerry whispers “llllooosseeerr”.
Quoted from ziz:My game came set up with padding at the bottom of the right ramp, so they have fixed that issue.
Cool - how about a picture?

Will do Eric. Just had a game where I got meekseek multiple and the shoot Jerry sequence was going for over a minute as my ball was stirring in the scoop. It finally ended and eventually the game did a ball search. Scoop switch is working fine.
Have good vacation!

The pad has always been at the bottom of the ramp. Does your ball exit cleanly without bouncing back a bit on exit? I added extra foam to mine to speed up the exit and eliminate the bounce completely. Seems most people don't have the bounce.

Oh ok, I thought it was just plastic there before. No issues with it, exits very nicely.

It’s not. I wasn’t being serious.
Family has all been playing Rick and Morty all day and was able to successfully recreate the meeseeks mania reset.
It was in fact in tandem with another dimension.
Backed up the audits on a USB drive and will send it to Eric after the weekend.
And now back to playing Pinball and drinking beer.

I am interested in adding a subwoofer to the game. In my other Williams machines I did that with alligator clips to the cabinet speaker. Can I do the same thing with this machine? What if I want to disable the cabinet speaker as well? The sound is great as is but I’d rather leave the bass up to a sub to reduce the rattling. Do I need the pinnovators kit? Thanks!

Should be able to alligator clip to the existing sub and run to the external sub high level inputs.
Use the controls on the game's amp to reduce the cabinet sub volume so it's lower but still there, then turn up the gain on the external sub to where you like. Turning up the cab sub will make the external sub louder; use the external sub gain control to compensate. Fiddle with everything (including backbox volume for balance) til it sounds exactly how you like.
I’m wondering if anyone else is having issues with multiple balls getting stuck in the shooter lane. Just had two games in a row where that happened during multi ball and it wasn’t able to plunge two balls together hard enough to clear the lane exit. I figure I can up the coil power but then it introduces the other issues with the shooter lane exit. Is this just a code issue that needs to be ironed out?

My Guess is the shooter lane switch isn’t actuating properly or a trough switch. Should only be one ball at a time ever.

Sometimes the ball wont make it out of the shooter lane even when it’s one ball, so I think it happens in multi ball when there are multiple ball saves and the first ball doesn’t clear the exit. It pops the second ball from the trough while the first ball is coming back down. Maybe I just need to up the power and then deal with the exit issues with a rubber on the wire form.

Yep, make sure the switch in the shooter lane isn’t slightly bent and getting stuck.
Also, try turning up the coil strength in the settings for the auto launch.

Also, Luke made a pretty good video on how to adjust your entry rail wire form.
I tweaked mine a little bit and works great.
Thanks for the replies, will tinker with it a bit tomorrow. I appreciate the help!
I have had the game for a few days and I am loving it!

So what you said now is slightly different. If the first ball isn’t quite getting all the way out of the shooter lane simply increase the plunger power a few digits. Had to bump mine up slightly but it’s worked perfectly since no issues. Good luck.

The game is fantastic.
The only reason I’m not playing it right now is that my wife is hogging it.

Maybe your treating her to nicely and she likes the call out abuse? Lol

LOL, she’s determined at the moment.
All of her scores got wiped off the board on the 4th. Am expecting at any moment for her to come tell me she beat one of my scores.

Ive had this happen a few times. My shooter lane coil strength is perfect for one ball, but in the rare instance that it needs to fire out 2 balls there isn't enough strength. Upping the coil strength introduces new problems. Ive let Eric know. I would think just boosting the stength during the 2nd and third attempts would solve it.

It'd be better to take the signal from before the built-in amplifier to get a line level source to your external sub, which I assume has it's own amplifier. Basic gain structure, more at the beginning less at the end. If the sound is "hollow" or "full of air" it's because you don't have enough signal at the beginning of the path and you're compensating at the end.

The way the launch ramp ends does create an issue. If it could handle dropping the faster moving ball reliably, it would certainly help things for the two ball stuck scenario. The issue likely wouldn't exist to start with, since all launches will then always make the grade anyway. Some parts of RaM overengineered, this part underengineered imho.
Having multiple tries at launching balls on any repeated basis is not fun to have happening during your multiball game, at all. The wireform may or may not be substantial enough, but it definately Looks flimsy. I should not have to dial back launch power just to make the ball drop consistently, really.
The only aspect of the game I have any concern with. Maybe it is sufficient? ... but it is certainly not ideal. Not hard to remedy when my game gets here if the wireform is still this way, I will certainly create a fix or improvment so that launch power can be elevated and still drop the ball consistently.
If Spooky have thier hands tied and unable to make any changes to the wireform, I can understand in some circumstances changes just aren't possible*. Maybe it could be a Mod opportunity.
I'm not worried about it at all for myself, I have fixes in mind. Point is it would be the icing on the cake to recieve a NIB pin and not have to do any Stranger Things from out of the box. If Spooky could pull that off they would be shipping A++ Grade games, and setting the highest standard bar None!
It is an issue, it is minor, but has potential to make any copy a bit temperamental, inconsistent with launches. Just posting my thoughts about it, trying to be constructive. Regardless, game still R(i)cks! ... looks like The GOAT for me!
Can anyone post a picture of how their scoop switch is set? My scoop stopped working after about 10 games. I got a video from spooky showing how to pull it back down into position, and i made that fix. It worked for another 20 games or so before it stopped working again. I think mine is now just not lined in the proper area do to me pulling it into position, but the video was too grainy to see for sure if I just pulled it down too much.

Agree with everything you said, the shooter lane wireform is a very poor design. I've said basically what you said, to Luke, the end is too flimsy and it's too dependent on the perfect ball speed to work, the margin for error is tiny, too slow or too fast and the design just doesn't work. I suggested something could be made, to clip onto the end and attach to the nearby orbit/turn around loop post, to stiffen the whole thing and force the ball down.

Said goodbye to spot 312 today. Bittersweet, but some deals you just can’t turn down. Pray for me that I at least get to PLAY it someday.

I don't know man.... I wouldn't sell it unless I had no choice and I really needed the money. But hey, it was your spot and your choice.
Sorry to say but you're going to regret it!!!!
BTW, totally kidding with the meme.

I got my final invoice about 2 weeks after the build sheet, and hoping to be able to pick it up what would be just after 3 weeks. That works out to 10 a week almost perfectly.

Don’t you currently have Your game spot listed for sale??

I’m #148 and waiting for my build sheet. I’m thinking it should be close as well. Hopefully any day.

Yep I sure do.
But that one I have for sale was from a shitty dimension where I ordered it online 20 minutes after they went up for sale and got a crappy build in the mid 600’s!!!
Couple months ago I used Rick’s portal gun to get myself in a spot about 350 spaces sooner!
