I replaced mine with power off with that board also did acnc power off.
Quoted from moTiv8:Hello all, I have a quick question about changing the CR2032 battery.
Is it enough if the power supply is on, but the flipper is not on when changing the battery?
I do not want the settings to be lost.
Thanks for your answer.
I just replaced mine yesterday. Took all of 2 minutes. Power on machine, access backbox by lowering speaker panel, release old battery, pop new battery in, lock speaker panel back in place and play a few games.
I have always replaced batteries with the game on in order to retain settings.
Those that have installed Precision Flippers, is it worth it, did you just replace the bats, or the bushing, ect. Do they offer the shorter bushing needed for R&M…
Thanks!

I installed the full precision flipper system on my RAM & ACNC. It's worth it for me. Since installing I've reduced flipper coil power 33% on ACNC after shooting airballs. RAM power reduced over 20% but making shots that were nearly impossible before. Bushings and keyed posts with new clamps make this very responsive and tight.

Yep, definitely get the brushings… he offers in Rick and Morty size.

Absolute game changer on R&M. Halos, bushings w/ keyed shafts. Once you install them and experience the significant difference in gameplay you'll wonder why you waited so long.

Battery not “on board”
It’s heat shrunk inside with leads
[quoted image]
I would bet that it’s not soldered and simply uses the heat shrink to maintain contact between the wires and battery. The ball of exposed wire and heat shrink are a giveaway.
New battery and new heat shrink will get you back in business.
Yes it is soldered but you can work it off the Orginal cell and then fold the Orginal contacts over to make them thicker then shrink to new cell check polarity and then for function before install.
Finally put in some MRS switches I ordered awhile ago (the three in the upper right corner of the playfield). The ball flies around now, and every hit is registering which is great. Even though I had adjusted the switches in that area numerous times to dial them in, it never was perfect. I also noticed when putting in the MRS switches, that one of the existing switches was barely soldered to the wires. Next time anyone lifts their playfield for something, I would suggest spot checking solder points, especially anywhere you have thought something might be intermittent.
MRS switches are awesome for anyone on the fence.
Does anyone have a set of legs or side rails (assuming if bought an extra set), that they'd be willing to sell?
Also looking for ramps.

don't forget the megaseeds! most important bit!
Quoted from sthippie:don't forget the megaseeds! most important bit!
Crap! I had megaseeds in the initial mockup but I had to type it over when I switched fonts. Maybe I'll add it in lol. It's more for the visuals for me anyways.
Quoted from Dan1733:Is there any reasonable belief that more/new adventures might be coded into R&M?
no. sorry but every couple of months this gets asked in this thread. just no.

So you are saying there is a chance.....nice!
Spotted in a for-sale ad, not seen this discussed before. I wouldn't do it, but this is a pretty cool mod.

Quoted from Pinstym:That is pretty sick. If that had official code worked into it, I'd be into it.
Well, it looks like it replaces the Jerry target. So, now it doubles as a Jerry & Garage shot. Pretty clever. The garage already has 2 shots to it….so, not really necessary, but clever.

Agreed, I think it'd make the garage shot a bit too easy for my liking (especially a few dimensions in when it switches to upper-flipper-only), but definitely a cool idea. It'd be a lot of fun for the Meeseeks/Jerry hurry up.
Totally understand what you're saying. When I say official code, I'm talking now with that on the game, it's coded so that the game knows you used the Jerry ramp to get to the garage. So you get different points/penalties for using it at different points in the game.
Edit: I would not be interested in this at all if it just counted as a Jerry stand up target hit (as-is).

Yikes. What an eyesore. When did the Cheater Ramp phenomenon start?

If you look at the actual pics, it isn't an eyesore as it is covered by the plastic, but agreed...weird thing to mod.

Very clever! I love this mode that add an interesting shot !

Woah, I didn't even realize that when I posted it. That's very slick.

I agree with this but I suck at both shots to the garage.....I know. I suck in general. haha....
Hi everyone, I originally designed this mod for myself and wasn't planning to release it. I designed it because the metal guide to the garage wasn't consistent enough so I set out to create a fix. I also didn't like the way the meeseeks multiball ended with a shot to the Jerry target and thought a ramp shot would be so much more satisfying and boy was I right. I have made so many versions of this ramp tweaking the geometry for a smooth satisfying shot. The area was very tight to have everything fit and I was able to make the mod fully reversible with a simple install. The ramp shot triggers the jerry target just as in regular gameplay. Because of all the interest, I've decided to produce this ramp if I get enough confirmed requests. I still need to finalize the metal ramp entrance and switch bracket. I would produce up to 30 ramp kits, including all hardware and electrical if I have enough confirmed interested people. The kits would be about $160usd. I will start making a list so send me a message and I will add your name to the list.

Theres been a few ramp mods pop up recently, this one however seems almost factory in its implementation. The Jerry (and Summer and Beth) shot isn't very dynamic and not something I typically enjoy shooting for. Do you have any further game play video? Would love to see what secondary gameplay changes occur with the mod in place.
InteractivePinball Looks like the rail to the garage is removed. Does the ball ride along the wood? Any impact on the upper flipper garage shot?
Garage shot is way too easy with this mod. Add me to the list. Can't wait!
If there is any possibility to have that one rivet out of the ball path that would be great.
Pending code update to add detection for Jerry -> Garage switch to only count it as a jerry hit and play a "oh, you're one of THOSE people" callout.

That would be amazing!
Be pretty cool if you could make that Jerry ramp mod blue so it's like part of the crystal on the platstic above.
