Never put in fans. Mine did fine in 3 days of nonstop play at Allentown pinfest... twice.
The only broken plastic I had doesn't count as it was really a broken mod... But I needed Noob Noob!
My nose was itching so I dropped by to say that Standard Edition #745 is still kicking with no issues so far!
I've yet to have to tweak anything other than regular menu settings...give us all of the Immortality Field!
We did have the scoop eject issue many months ago, but after a code update that was resolved.
The 2 times we've had to contact Spooky since delivery, they've been nothing but responsive and more helpful than I would expect from any company:
-Got a broken key chain on delivery, new one was shipped out immediately, thank you!
-Asked about the flipper bushing thing, new bushings were mailed out rather quickly as well.
No mods, just replaced rubbers with Titans and threw in some extra shiny Ninja balls.
We have the "pin guys" over once every few weeks and we all beat on it together.
Completed Rick Potion No.9 a handful of times now.
Crammed a whopping 35 Megaseeds on my best game!
Still praying for Snake Jazz
And TNA2.0!

On the white plastic or at top by metal? There looks to be a broken off metal by the plus sign on the white area.
That little metal lead is where it makes contact. Can't quite get close enough to mine to see how the Tab is fixed to the back of the motor, but it is the plastic and not the outer meta rim/casing.

Yes, looks to be right where that "+" sign is on the plastic. Really hard to get a photo from back there but here is the best photo I could get.

I have a set of custom backbox hinges, not sure where they are originally from, that I’m looking to sell. Anyone interested? They are opened but unused. They include the original bubble wrap even. Not sure on price since I don’t know what they were originally. If you’d like them, message me.

Posting this for fans of R&M that need something to tide them over until the new season. This is from one of the co-creators.
Justin Roiland's new game "High on Life" has a trailer and is due in the fall. Basically he's voicing it like Morty and the look and feel is very weird, funny Rick and Morty-like. Check it out:
Finally Rick and Morty is working %100, left drop target had a dead switch. Now the ball lock and sound effects work properly. I can’t express enough how incredible the replacement LCD screen is worth every penny. The blacks are incredible and yhe colors are soo rich/deep. Excellent advice from everyone!!! Thanks
Will someone ever be able to create a mod that will play all the episodes in the pinball machine? It would be epic to be able to select any episode you want to play. This way I can stare at the Machine even more!!!! With this new LCD screen the cartoons would look phenomenal. Just a thought
All of the sudden I lost sound for the 'Looks Who's Purging Now" intro in its entirety, then back to normal for gameplay. Then no sound for 'Gromflomite Multiball' intro in its entirety, then back to normal for gameplay. Then sound also missing on exit match scene Bootleg Portal Fluid. Is this a known bug?
Any body have a pic of where the diverter should rest when the right portal shot is closed and it feeds the ball to the inner loop? My diverter seems to have gotten stuck on the other side of the metal ball guide, ball guide is also cracked and bend out of shape now from the diverter whacking it.
how do you turn the bass down on this thing? the bass rattles so bad i cant even hear anything else.

Here's a picture of the amp, it's mounted in the cab with front facing to the right so it would be the first knob for sub volume or middle bigger knob for bass.

Get some of this and wrap it around the edges of the playfield glass. I also wrapped some on the top edges of the glass and I also put some behind the speaker panel in various places.
This will stop the rattling and you can leave the awesome bass alone. This is the only machine I do not have a sub woofer on because of the great sound system.
My mom came over today while I was working upstairs so went down and played my R&M. When she came up she said “your new pin curses and told me I need to get my shit together.” I died laughing. Worth every penny.

Spook to soon, this game is the weirdest pinball machine of all time!!! From resetting itself, loss of speach, to now ending my ball during play!!! WTF Spooky!!! And i just paid in FULL for my CE-Halloween!!!! I have no clue how to approach this, did another fuse go out ? What a frustrating pinball machine!!! But I absolutely love it tho, rather play it than work on it
Mine does lose some sounds on occasion too. Like what a number of people have brought up. If I want to continue to play I have to reboot it.
I bought it based on theme and think it's a fun game. But.. Based on this I'll probably not be buying anymore spooky. I don't see them trying to fix this issue after I've seen these issues addressed multiple times. I know they are probably aware but either don't care or don't know how to fix.

Have you tried to reinstall the latest code? Sometimes it needs a fresh start.

Sounds like you might have some loose connections. Check all of the connectors at the boards and any Z-Connectors you see for snug fit. You might have to get out the hot glue gun and re-seat a few.
Hit up the Techs at Spooky for help, too. They are great about tech help.

you can try a log dump:
All you have to do is put a blank USB stick into the R&M computer and it'll dump the logs. It's plain text files. Doesn't need to be immediately_ after, but the log does eventually cycle if it gets big enough
it's good also to do it when you have some reset, but this may be due to a bad servo connection
after checking this, I have no more reset on any spooky, or any issue with the sound

From experience with my Rick and Morty, ending a ball during play happened out of the box and was fixed by re-seating the loose opto connector. Hasn't happened again in 2 years now.
Loss of speech happened a couple times but is fixed by resetting the game. This hasn't happened again since the latest code update.
My TNA and Rick & Morty have both had reset issues in the past. Spooky tech told me to turn up the voltage a tiny bit from my power supply. Havent had any resets after doing this.
Call Spookys tech number. They will 100% help you with those issues.

This is a known 'issue'. It's just paper. You may still be able to ask them to send you a spare set.
You can cover the new ones with some clear vinyl to prevent it from happening again.

Mine weren't that bad after 1000 plays. But I took off the rails and put mylar exactly over all that portal
Hey guys, can someone post me a link where all the rick and morty pinball tweaks are the help all the bricking. Only thing I have done is replaced flipper bushes from ones I trimmed down originally but would like to make other adjustments on flippers, ball guides etc to help shoot better. Any help is appreciated...
