So 231 hasn’t shipped but peeps in the 240’s and into 260’s have shipped? Man, 230’s getting Jerry’ed.
Has anyone reported receiving the lucky milestone game Spooky announced, like their 4,000th game or something, that was going to have some goodies?
Quoted from johnnyutah:So 231 hasn’t shipped but peeps in the 240’s and into 260’s have shipped? Man, 230’s getting Jerry’ed.
I’m waiting for 236 to ship
Quoted from SpookyLuke:All of our games ship with protectors! Possibly confusion on what those are?
Weird, I can't wrap my head around how gonzo73 got a decal tear from the leg then, UNLESS it's like Dialed In where the top detail groove on the leg curved like 1mm too far back toward the cabinet and overcame the standoff's spacing. On the one we had, it started puckering the decal, and I added a washer between the standoff and the back of the leg to give it just a little more space.
It would be nice to have pictures/confirmation of how the decal tear from the leg happened...
Quoted from arzoo:Just got word from Spooky that #234 was loaded on truck yesterday!
Well, drinking IS kind of on-point for the theme, so...expected.

Took me a sec, but LOL!
DruTheFu yours may have shipped already. I got my email from Joe on Monday that mine would be shipping in the next few days - then I got a text on Tuesday to schedule delivery (it had already arrived in Atlanta) - which leads me to believe that it had shipped sometime last week. Hang in there - it will be any day now I'm sure.
Mine is being delivered tomorrow and I'm having a lot of trouble staying focused at work...

You know that feel bro, you get it! I'm like you right now, at work, trying to keep that focus.
A surprise text for delivery tomorrow or Friday to get me past this crap work week would turn this Loser Jerry into Beekeeper Jerry.
I forgot to put the lock nuts on the front legs the day I set it up, that's why I removed the legs Saturday night, to put them on the feet.
I'm finally bringing it home tonight from my friends arcade, I'll take pictures tonight.
It's a minor tear, who knows how it happened, but does appear to be from the side edge of the leg pressing into the artwork.
Who knows, maybe just one of the legs was bent, or stamped wrong in manufacturing.
I saw it, then said oh well, and forgot it for days, I only posted it so you guys can be extra careful and perhaps use extra protection.
Pictures tonight.

@oliviarium, thanks for your timeline for perspective. Like TinyBlackDog mentioned, I'm hoping for that text from a random dimension for the surprise portal entry.

I remove the locknuts or never install them on the front legs as that is the only way I can get my games steep enough to play the way I want them too.
#245 is arriving Friday any time between 10 and 6. Not a huge fan of the massive delivery window but that's the local trucking company not Spooky.

Does my truck look like it has a game in it to tell you that answer? DOES IT?!?!?

It has it at the end of meseeks mania multiball if you miss the lit jerry shot.
So I don't know if this was a fluke, or if there was some odd bug that happened, but I was playing a game where I did a nice two warning slap save, waited the requisite amount of time for things to cool down, shot the scoop while it was lit for a mystery award and got an extra tilt warning, then the game immediately tilted when the ball was shot out of the scoop. In addition, the one shot that was lit for meseeks stayed lit for the meseeks until the next ball was launched, then when the launch button was hit it was cleared.
This is on the newest public release.

Did you maybe get a tilt warning removed? Is that a random "award"?
Quoted from RC_like_the_cola:Did you maybe get a tilt warning removed? Is that a random "award"?
I could have been in the opposite dimension at the time, so "extra" actually means "lick, lick, lick my balls!", haha

Ya with an 8 hour window the trucking company got you by the silverballs. With Jerry driving!!!

Been casually following that thread.
Looks fascinating.
Ok, pics I got vinyl pinching in all four corners and a rip in front right corner.
The game is so great, I dont care.

Ah, they didn't cut the decal around the standoff so when it shifts a little it's bunching the decal and eventually digging through it. Maybe Spooky would want to do a running change for R&M from here on so the decal is cut short around the standoff area so it doesn't actually touch the metal standoff at all (which is what Stern and JJP do) to prevent this.

Had this on another game and from memory cut around metal standoffs.....is that the way to do it on any game with this issue?

Love it.
For those in the 230's .... don't give up hope. I got the call yesterday for delivery of #238. I decided to not wait and picked it up at the loading dock last night.
Side note... I wouldn't recommend using a late model Honda Pilot for transporting pins. I had to strip it down to the plastic wrap and still had to give it a less than gentle push to get it to fit for the last few inches

I'm surprised since the Pilot seems like a mid-size SUV. We were considering a 2020. What was the size issue, length?

That sucks. My 2005 RAV4 can fit a fully boxed game (just). Have to remove the pallet first, of course.

I was surprised too. Mine is a 2017. The extreme corners of the backbox scrapped by the arched opening of the trunk. I suspect the problem was that the middle seats are at a slight incline when folded down, which starts to lift the pin ever so slightly once it's almost all the way in. I don't know if I had flipped the seats forward if it would have made the incline a non-issue, but it would have likely created a problem for the length given the pre-mounted topper (and my lack of tools in the car to remove it).

[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
yeah, I'm not sure why spooky didn't cut the decals around the leg protectors. that would have eliminated the issue altogether. stern and jjp both do it with their cabinets and decals.
the fix is to score the decal about 1/16" outside of where the leg protector rests, remove the 2 screws holding the leg protector in place, strip out that portion of the decal and then re-attach the leg protector. this should be done upon arrival of machine, even before setting it up.

My wife and I have been test driving new SUVs and the first thing I check is if the seats fold flat! Our current SUV ('03 MDX with 220k miles) has been a great pinball hauler! Hoping #234 will be delivered tomorrow!
