    A cut of the decals around the edge of the legs by itself will not fix the problem. You'll either be able to see the cut (if it's outside the edge of the legs) or you'll still have contact area between the legs and decals. I've even tried the felt protectors and still get some minor wrinkling on my MB. The combination of the Stern metal bracket and cutting the decals seems like the perfect solution, though I can't say so from personal experience since I don't yet own a machine with the leg brackets.

    From my experience, I got wrinkling with the felt protectors from PBL in place. Granted, these were are already wrinkled, and I straightened them out, then installed the felt, but I still wouldn't trust them.
