Quoted from bigehrl:YeOldPinPlayer why did you downvote my blank post #120?? at least give me the the opportunity to say something stupid, before you hate on it. trust me, they'll be plenty of chances.
I upvoted because sometimes it’s better to not say anything at all
Quoted from iceman44:“Like it is on my other pinballs”. You mean the Doctor Who?
It’s a good story but you missed several talking points in your list
He’s not lying. Dr Who never chipped or pooled after 100 plays. And Dr. Who probably cost $1300 brand new
Quoted from Kkoss24:Aaaand raise the price 1k so the new purchasers flip the bill for the ones that will be replaced .Pretty smart thinking .When have you seen a NIB just acquired selling for less than it cost the person .In my brief time I’ve never seen this .
[quoted image]
Yeah that’s not good, race to the bottom. I’m probably doing the same. If there’s a run for the bank, this might end up being the first NIB that goes severely down in value. That will sting as future buyers might avoid JJP if the pins stop holding value. Let’s see how fast (or not) that pin sells. If it’s not pending by EOB then that will tell you what people think
Quoted from mostater:How do we know that this is being sold for less that purchased? Could've been bought at the original LE price $9500, right?
If retail is now $10500 plus tax/shipping and they are selling a NIB for $10k (regardless of what they paid) that’s a price going down not up. BTW, checked back and the guy re-listed it at $10.9K. So looks like he did his homework.
Quoted from DNO:Nobody can seem to chime in here without taking a side, it’s fuckin gold
Both companies suck. There I said it

Peace out POTC. Word

[quoted image]
I met Jack and he’s a great guy. I’m pretty sure the issues are nothing in his control now. This is Eric & Trust Fund Owners problem to solve
Quoted from Deez:Lets just say I cannot confirm nor deny this to be the case.
Did he at least give you a reach around?
Ok he wasn’t trading it due to issues, he was trading it because he believes CE market is peaked (and LE). He’s probably right due to the amount of these pins being made. People have also moved onto other pins in addition to people selling them due to not wanting to deal with issues and no warranty
Quoted from Oneangrymo:I was hatin my GNR and was about to sell it but I think its starting to grow on me a bit. Only thing I dont like that scene with the skeletons doing it doggy style during some of the songs, kind of grosses me out a bit, not sure if thats the purpose.
You haven’t tried Skelton sex? Live a little buddy?
Quoted from jawjaw:Does the JJP bashing have to be constant? Every thread. Every post. Every day over and over and over. Bashing the company. Bashing their PR. Bashing their people. Bashing anyone that does not join in on the bashing. And you wonder why JJP doesn't just throw out free parts to anyone that complains. It's endless.
This would go away with a simple “We here at JJP recognize the PF issues being reported. Please contact JJP as we fully warranty our playfields and will work to solve your issues” 90% noise would go away and the standard 10% will always remain because people use Pinside to bitch for no good reason
Quoted from JohnTTwo:So with the value of JJP games skyrocketing after a person buys one what gives? Why do they go up in price so much? I am newer to the hobby, do the new Sterns go up the same as JJP?
People love to buy a train wreck, including me
Quoted from holminone:Should I eat my $1000 deposit on GNR? My game is scheduled for delivery next week….
Sell it NIB?
