Ive only ordered 3 or 4 times from Jeff, but my experience has been very good. His deliveries have arrived faster than any other vendor I’ve ordered parts from. I had an issue with BSD cabinet decals I ordered, and he immediately corrected the problem (again with fast delivery).

Anyway…just saying it’s not all bad. Sounds like you could get a ‘mixed bag’. Considering the limited options we have for parts sourcing, I wouldn’t write him off completely if you need something. I will give him the benefit of the doubt until/unless personal experience teaches me otherwise.

I placed an order for decals and plastics on Monday. I received everything in good condition and quality on Tuesday! Communicating with Jeff has been easy/straightforward on the 5 or 6 orders I’ve placed with him. Zero complaints. FWIW, I bought a couple sets of decals from him and my BSDs (purchased a while ago) maybe seemed a little thin (didn’t have that impression on other decals, but maybe they were all the same) …but we installed the BSD decals carefully and they turned out great.

I understand others have different experience with this vendor, and I can’t speak to that. I’m only sharing positive facts/experience I have with this seller. For new potential buyers, I cannot support the “avoid at all cost” perspective. Consider the positives along with the negatives and make your purchase decisions.

I will purchase from them again.

Quoted from stevevt:PSST. Sometimes people will even post multiiple times in the same thread defending a seller with terrible quality, communication, and business practices. It's like they are trying to balance out the bad experiences being related here in a way that isn't proportional to their limited experience.
E.g., https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/avoid-ebay-seller-classicarcades?tu=curban

...there's no secret. I was updating because I was really, really pleased and impressed receiving goods within 24 hrs of ordering yesterday and wanted to give a positive shout-out. I probably only live 100 miles away, but 24hrs is still a nice surprise. I have no relationship with vendor...I met him at a show for five minutes. My order yesterday was STTNG decals and sling plastics. Maybe they're easy things to get right; anyway both are good.

Yes, I can only speak from my limited experience. It's not proportional to the bad experiences shown on Pinside...but let's face it, Pinside isn't the happiest place on earth (I think it's either Finland or Disney World). I guess I did feel compelled to say something positive in the face of all this negativity about the business. Obviously, he wouldn't still be in business if he gave every customer a bad experience...so i can't be the only satisfied customer.

Anyway...lesson learned...say something nice and get wrath of pinside...I'll keep whatever positivity I have to myself from now on! (no I won't; you will never snub by niceness!!!!...really,theres not that much of it to begin with...my closest friend actually teases me as Mr Negativity, but he's never used Pinside as a barometer!!!).

Cheers everyone. Everyone get back to what you were doing!
