    Drama aside…

I do think the idea of a community build, or community builds is pretty cool. I’m imagining something like:

    - multiple people each building their own machine
    - some people may do extra work in one or more areas so others can leverage - like someone CNCs playfields, someone develops plastic and art templates and the process to finish off, someone develops rules and programming - and these things can be customize - songs and call outs changed etc….
    - someone provides a sweet design

At the end of the day, this could morph into a “kit” of sorts that could make something really hard, like building your own game from scratch, a tiny bit easier by leveraging community assets and community help. The cool thing is it’s all linked to one design and a common set of base rules.

Of course, the “someone’s” would all have to agree to be involved and allow those assets to be used.

Seems like Norris design would be awesome to use. But we’d want him to bless this use and collect some type of royalty or something

Seems like someone has offered CNC, but maybe a little up charge is added on top of costs.

There are already 2 people wanting to do this build, and I’d be interested as a third.

It’s merely an interesting concept if a few people want to do it and share their progress and help others in the thread, and if certain people wanted to provide certain assets for this purpose…

    Or not.
