Does anyone else feel like Stern blew it with Avengers? Such a hot license and characters, and the game didn't pan out to be as good as it should have. With Gomez designing it, I really hoped that it would be a more advanced version of Monster Bash. Collecting the characters and then starting them all to face off against Loki together would be cool. I also think the game lacked "flow." The shots can be very awkward, and the ball can get stuck around Hulk. The Black Widow ramp is pretty frustrating sometimes. The left orbit is super valuable and repeatable, which makes the game kind of linear and repetitive. I also wish that there were more callouts from the actors to keep you engaged in the story.

I don't think the game we got is BAD, but if I had that kind of a license, I would make sure that it was a hit and not take such big risks with a non-traditional playfield layout.
