Quoted from RobT:

Definitely something very fishy about this, not only because of the name of the seller, but charging $11 for the pin itself but over $3100.00 for shipping.
You guys better hope you don't get "the pin" because normally shipping charges are not refundable. You call your credit card company to dispute the charges because you were not sent what you expected, but you did receive "the pin", so you want your money back...all $11.00.

This has fraud written all over it.
If the price for the pin itself was $3100.00 I'd be more inclined to say there was a chance of it being legit. But $11.00? The IRS would be all over this!

This is an old marketing ploy that has been used many many times before. Really no different than the buy one at this very special price and get the second for FREE. Just pay shipping and handling. The cost is figured in the shipping.

RobT. Not good marketing??? Are you frigging kidding me... Did you even notice how long those 10 pins lasted on Amazon before they sold out...

Quoted from RobT:

Oh my lord. Miss the point much??
So you are saying it was good marketing because the shipping cost is $3100.00? Are you frigging kidding me?
They sold quick because the overall price is cheap. Not because of the $3100.00 shipping.
Good lord.

I guess you missed my point. And that is, it caught everyone's eye real quick the way it was done. You know like " What the hell is this!" It did exactly what it was suppose to do...

Damn, I was hoping that everybody would get a pin. All is not lost though. What a great discussion for the past few days! Kind of sad the excitement is all over.
