Looks like the stole The Cube, from The Pin.
Quoted from Shapeshifter:Hulk going to be the one to have!
LE has extra metal ramp...
Lock lights are in different places. LE has them in the lower right hand corner and Pro is in the upper left hand corner. Weird.
Anyone else catch Stern's new press release text?
"MELROSE PARK, IL – November 29, 2012 – Stern Pinball Inc., the world’s leading maker of real pinball games, announced today the release of The Avengers pinball machine."
No longer saying they are the only real makers of pinball machines and have now switched to leading maker...
Quoted from jayhawkai:Yep, looks like a WCS-style assist shot. That saucer is going to take a beating, too.
Definitely. There is a notch out of the scoop for the mechanism to throw the ball at Hulk.
Quoted from Baiter:Let's all say it together:
Stern's MSRP is not the price you pay.
Stern's MSRP is not the price you pay.
Stern's MSRP is not the price you pay.
For those really wanting a bit of a comparison:
2011: WOZ: LE $6500 Pre-order, now $7000 for standard edition
2011: Transformers Pro $5699, LE $7499 MSRP
2012: ACDC: Pro $5699, Prem $7699, LE $8499 MSRP
2012: X-Men: Pro $5699, LE $7999 MSRP
2012: Hobbit: LE $7500 Pre-Order ($8000 in Feb)
2012: Avengers: Pro $5699, LE $8099 MSRP, Premium ?
Stern has been holding the line on Pro pricing, and LE's go up and down by model. To compare JJP and Stern pricing just realize JJP prices are more like street prices, and Stern sales prices have been roughly $1500 less than MSRP.
Damn. Scary when you put it out like that. The already *WAY* over-inflated LE price has gone up an additional $600 in a single year. Wow.
