No, not true. Besides the Bill Bixby television series, Hulk has had canceled books and the movies weren't considered mega hits. Captain America comics the last 5-7 years has outsold Hulk comics.

Both of the newer movies made over 130 million. The Hulk from 2003 (Eric Bana) had the biggest June opening ever in its day. The Edward Norton The Incredible Hulk from 2008 had nice touches to the popular Bill Bixby TV show, the opening of the film in the old school lab, eyes changing color and even had a few seconds of the Joe Harnell theme music, The Lonely Man. All my friends and family really enjoyed the Norton film but I know others who didnt want to see it because of the Ang Lee version. Until The Avengers its my opinion that the movie studio, Universal had a hard time getting people to accept The Hulk as a CGI vs Lou Ferringo and the passion of Bill Bixby acting sort of made it seem more real than other super heros. I know it might seem hokie but the show ran over 4 years and I know the tv pilot was shown at our drive in theatre as a second feature and was released o some theatres. The human element still hold up from that old TV show but so many want to hear Hulk Smash. Lou Ferringo even did the sounds from the 2008 film of the Hulk trying to please fans of that Hulk but still the film was somewhat of a dissapointment. As a fan thanks Mark Ruffalo for bringing back The Hulk!

The Hulk will be the one to get really surprised its only 250 instead of 300 like Wolverine and ACDC Black In Black. I bet that only increases demand! This is the Stern machine that will hit that 10k price but not until next Christmas.
