Yeah!!
Not as cool looking as I'd hoped... but still on the buy list.

We are fortunate to still have pinball machines being designed and manufactured brand new.
I think many of you are being way too critical. Everything Stern does is awesome and FAR surperior to ALMOST every machine made in the 90s, 80s, and before.
It's easy to pick them apart, but the bottom line is... Avengers looks awesome and we're lucky to have something like this available to us in 2012.
If you don't like it, fine. Don't buy it. There's thousands and thousands of used machines out there for you to scoop up and fiddle with and maintain and shop and repair.
If you want to live out your childhood dream of owning cool-ass, brand new pinball machines, like me, then buy Avengers or any other NIB pinball, Stern or JJP, and shut up. Or start your own pinball company, and put YOUR money where your mouth is.
These guys are doing the damn thing and deserve respect. Not petty comments on public forums.
This machine looks great. Can't wait to play it.
Obviously, constructive criticism is welcome. My reference is to the BS trolling that some of these posts represent.
This machine, and all their machines, are high quality pieces of modern art. Their aesthetics won't appeal to everyone, but you can't deny that they are examples of great craftsmanship.
Let them know what you'd like to see in the next machine. Vote with your wallet, not with a loud mouth.
And screw Brittany.
I am looking forward to this one. Lifelong comic fan, especially Marvel. Avengers looks fun and I love that each of the Avenger characters is represented.
However, just two flippers? All of my faves have at least three, including the two I own (JD and DH). Still, it is on my radar for purchase and I'm hoping it will be on display at the upcoming Snowball tourney in Howell, MI (wishful thinking, I know).
$2,600 seems like quite a premium for what is offered and I'm not sure about that diverter ramp right across the middle of the playfield. Weird.
However, it is a nice piece of art and would look great in the cave.
