Per Stern Press release
Quoted from paul_8788:Looking like no Premium
Sterns announcement (http://www.sternpinball.com/Community/Blogs/news/avengers-pinball.aspx) says the Premium will come in 2013.
Pricing and Availability:
Avengers Pro: $5699 MSRP
Avengers LE: $8099 MSRP
HULK LE: $8099 MSRP
Avengers Premium: Pricing available in 2013
Nice, a premium in 2013!!!!
Quoted from RC_like_the_cola:Looks like something may raise up in front of Hulk.
Loki?
So it does look like a two flipper game unless I am missing something, but looks to have a variety of different functions based on the shots hit.
Anyone else catch Stern's new press release text?
"MELROSE PARK, IL – November 29, 2012 – Stern Pinball Inc., the world’s leading maker of real pinball games, announced today the release of The Avengers pinball machine."
No longer saying they are the only real makers of pinball machines and have now switched to leading maker...
Quoted from BLACK_ROSE:Any Prices YET ? opp's ,, ABOVE ... ,, $ 8K , that's Nut's ,,,.....
Thanks, Jack.
Does that metal section of the ramp in front of the hulk drop after completing the drop targets so you can hit the "hulk smash" target?
Quoted from paul_8788:Stern Pinball Inc., the world’s leading maker of real pinball games,
This is a welcomed development.
I think it looks really cool. Comparing the pics side-by-side, here are the differences I see;
- LE has metal crossover from mid left to low right
- Ramp section on top/RH of orbit looks more complex on LE (two levels)?
- LE has some sort of laser-cut metal piece dropping into pop bumper field
- BLack Widow ramp has different laser cutting pattern on Pro and LE. Different function?
- Captain America shield inserts are higher up orbit on Pro than on LE
- Loki 3-lamp "Lock" sign is on LH upper corner on Pro, on RH middle on LE
- Apron looks different. My guess is plastic for Pro, metal for LE
- Pro has red flashers on slings, LE has Blue on Thor, Green on Hulk
That's what I can pick out so far. Overall, I think it's great that the two major toys (Hulk figure and spinning Tesseract) are on all models!
Later,
EV
Not a huge fan of the Hulk myself, so don't really want the big green machine, but looks pretty cool.
Premiums are coming in 2013 it clearly says.
Are my eyes deceiving me or does it have white rubber and colored post sleeves on the LE playfield.
Quoted from Donnyman:Im with you on that too, the translight has all the characters on it.
Says right in the caption "AVENGERS LE" So its an LE with all the characters.
Need some higher rez pics of the playfield. I'm getting a headache trying to follow the path the ball can travel in some spots...
That ramp in front of hulk comes apart on the LE version. The pro doesn't have seams. He must smash the ramp?!
Pricing is MSRP so of course it is ridiculously high. Just remember that you most likely won't be paying anywhere near that, unless the LE's sellout and your getting in to late.
Quoted from BLACK_ROSE:Any Prices YET ? opp's ,, ABOVE ... ,, $ 8K , that's Nut's ,,,.....
Yes I have pricing now.. Email me [email protected]
Quoted from frolic:That ramp in front of hulk comes apart on the LE version. The pro doesn't have seams. He must smash the ramp?!
is it possible that hulk catches the ball (magnet) and throws it into Hulk Smash? There has to be a reason that the ramp is cut out the way it is
Pricing and Availability:
Avengers Pro: $5699 MSRP
Avengers LE: $8099 MSRP
HULK LE: $8099 MSRP
Avengers Premium: Pricing available in 2013
So what is the difference with the Premium?
Quoted from Wolfmarsh:Avengers Premium: Pricing available in 2013
AKA... If the LE sells well enough, they'll make Premiums. Otherwise, no premiums.
Quoted from jhoward1082:LE playfield
The cross ramp on the LE is a little distracting. I think I prefer the Pro over the LE this time. The Green cab and DMD on the Hulk edition is pretty though.
Quoted from kapper:is it possible that hulk catches the ball (magnet) and throws it into Hulk Smash? There has to be a reason that the ramp is cut out the way it is
Like on Frankenstein?
Quoted from iepinball:AKA... If the LE sells well enough, they'll make Premiums. Otherwise, no premiums.
If it is anything like X-men LE, we will know if they are sold out (to distribs) by Monday.
Quoted from Crrispy:HULK LE is going to sell out much faster than Thor...
There is no Thor LE, just an "Avengers LE".
Avengers LE looks terrible. Who would pick that over the Hulk LE. Im gonna pass..Ill wait to play it and then get a premium or pro if I like it.
If you look at all their current pins like ac/dc pro, they're pricing is all msrp $5699, so you should be able to get Avengers pro reasonably.
I'm all in for Avengers PRO- It has a shot selection I dig
Definitely doesn't reach out and grab me from pics. Knock down the drops, then bash the Champion Pub boxer- I mean Hulk. Mode saucer shot, loop, targets to spin the Allspark, I mean Tesseract, etc. We'll see how it plays... could be cool. Monger-like thing rises in front of Hulk, it seems.
Hey, it's definitely not an 8 shot fan, so that's something! But that cross field ramp looks like a view blocking nightmare unless it moves away like Iceman ramp. Not as Jazzed as I thought I'd be. Definitely in the "Wait for Premium" category, very glad they're bringing back the Premium!
Quoted from Apollyon:Stern's own webpage says premium pricing in 2013. 8099 for LE. 5699 for pro. Both MSRP.
Jesus...New pinball is now officially out of my price range
I like the cab art on the Pro. It would look good with matched gray/white/silver (whatever the base color is) legs, siderails, and lockdown bar.
