I wonder why Stern wouldn't start using this approach, surely the manufacturing cost would be similar.
I'd love to buy a bunch for all my games but they're just too pricey for me to buy from Shapeways.

What Stern did is cheapened out but in doing these people have seen great results in Ghostbusters, Turtles, Avengers so far.
Oh for sure, I wasn't intending my comment about cost as a criticism of you or the product itself, the fact that these exist at all and I could buy them (if I wasn't so cheap) is a great thing.
