Man, definitely am interested in Prem or LE (where do I put another damn game!!!)..

Quoted from cooked71:500 total. AFAIK 40 down here.
Yea, even Mike sold out...no biggie.....I've got a spot if someone backs out (always the case). Not a "must have" but looks cool, so good either way....
In!!! LE coming my way...making room now ( found my room stretcher).
Think I saw someone mention a club thread somewhere... I'll seek it out....
Quoted from J85M:How does Sterns HD glass compare to say InvisiGlass or PDI?
I have only had PDI in the past, this will be my first experience with Sterns HD glass, was already thinking about getting a sheet of PDI to swap it out, so curious what your take or anyone else’s is.
Hey Pinbud!!! PDI still the best, but Stern's version is very close, w Invisiglass being 3rd, imho. I was pleasently surprised on how good the Stern glass was.
Quoted from Thunderbird:Topper prices have gotten out of control, for not much in return. Now $600 to $1,000 for $35 worth of plastic and LEDs! Munsters topper was loaded with features and priced at $425, seems quite reasonable now and that was only some months ago. It has loads of integrated gameplay, with a Raven coo-coo clock announcing each hour of the day, as well. Come on Stern stop taking advantage of us with so much less than what you gave us on Munsters and Black Knight SOR. Both those toppers were arguably worth the asking price.
Haven't bought NIB since MunstersLE (which I still actually like, alot). One of my favorite toppers, after it got sorted. How much is this one going to be? Saw some grumblings about JP2 toppers, but never bought the game, so clueless if they've doubled in price or something.. (hope not, cause I'm getting one... )
Really like the inside art blades on the LE as well. Just looks like a fun game!!
Quoted from Blitzburgh99:How many of these can pinside have?
[quoted image]
Don't worry, more will rise- at least 2 " mod development" threads, 1 hate thread, and some sort of poll...
Quoted from Mando:Since there is a lot of you dont need an LE(and you dont) I did some quick math its really not bad a value they are what $1300 more than a premium? You are getting over $1000 in extras, plus the "limited factor" yes you could do the powder for less assuming you have a good powder coater nearby but if you need to ship it out this is even a low estimate. Not to mention it takes time, plus tax and shipping for all this
Powder $400
HD Glass $250
Backglass $200?(over translite)
Art Blades $100
Shaker $100
Speakers $100
Your math is close, and the mirrored backglass probably can't be bought separate unless you own an LE.
Means alot to some people, nothing to others.. I don't have yellow armour on any of my other games, and like the LE package...just me though...
Quoted from Waxx:Jurassic Park has two club threads with one for the LE. So I would guess at least a couple more.
Forgot this angle...I now predict 5 more threads, minimum..
Quoted from chuckwurt:I believe the side art is exclusive to the LE. The one you can buy is different.
Think you are right...forgot about that...
Quoted from Meegis:Not just you. I literally said this to a few people. I like the look and I have nothing else yellow.
Great minds...
Quoted from RC_like_the_cola:Reminds me of motion comics from some years back. I like the animations.
Agreed. In this title, I think the animation style fits the theme/ era great (from what I've seen anyway)....
Quoted from chuckwurt:It was a big surprise to everyone until really late in the game.
A very well kept secret, I'd say... pleasant surprise!! ( except on my checkbook)
Quoted from Flippersaurus:They’re going with the motion comic style. I think it fits very well with pinball. It conveys a simple concept in a short time. Not much more than a still frame. The art is great. Very Marvel. The call outs will be about the same. If that’s not what you like. Save your dollars. I’m down digging it and looking forward to having one.
So putting this next to my XMen Magneto...my superhero row is getting confusing...think BM66 and Spidey are different, yet IM fits right in.... decisions, decisions..
Quoted from iceman44:Awesome shooting pin
I’m very happy with the LE I’m getting
It’s gonna require a lot more time on this game to figure out what the heck is going on and what you need to do
There is a shitload going on. As it should be. It’s Avengers
Ditto!!! Excited for my LE to arrive...alot going on, really like the wireforms, and rules will take some time for me to figure out...no cakewalk judging from the stream....love it!!
Quoted from wesman:Side note, I'm kinda feeling I like the shots and layout a lot more than the code....
I really like the shots and layout...believe this will bring a nice change-up and variety to my lineup...fun times...much needed
Quoted from PinMonk:It might have been length of continuous play. Avengers is a slow burn heating up the coils compared to Stranger Things. In my tests it just made it to 135F after an hour of continuous play which would just result in missed and bricked shots but not ramp rollbacks. That twitch stream was over TWO hours of continuous play before he started seeing ramp reject coil fade, which suggests to me he was over 145 degrees where that happens on backhands, probably more like 150+ because he was having fade on direct shots.
All this tells me is I need to do at least one more Avengers AIQ test that's at least 2 hours long instead of the usual hour. If I verify the temps I suspect from that stream, I'll move the game from mild to moderate coil fade ranking.
I'm convinced I don't want to risk it. Link to the cooling fans?..thx
( been making the marvel ramp shot pretty consistently, but only played the game for a couple hours at a time, taking breaks)
