Quoted from pinmister:

The Dinosaur in JP looks like it was bought at the dollar store. I quickly looked over it as I was too busy playing the fantastic game with an epic layout. I even left my cheap plastic Gomez truck because it is depicted throughout the theme. I do think the glove needs some help and modders will be all over it.

This is a good looking game no doubt, but yeah, the yellow trim and glove is definitely a miss. Also looking at the layout it looks pretty fun but not as good as JP. The T-Rex centeral toy just pulls it all together on that game. Imo, this game needed a toy like that to compete with JP.

Quoted from Whifflebat:

Those animations and music look and sound pretty good (as does the Black Panther one from a few days ago)! I was a little concerned after some of the dodgy animations on TMNT. Can't wait for the Wednesday reveal.

I agree, sometimes less is more, it's definitely minimalistic. But it's helluva lot better than BKSOR and TMNT. I'm not a fan of the Final Fantasy look. Btw, is it the same guy who did JP?

Quoted from John1210:

What bksor did you play? The animations on the one I played was fantastic... crisp, inventive. Very well executed. Turtles is a little more on the average side.

Yeah, there nice and crisp, but I just don't like the animation frames where the characters are just standing there, it looks an RGP console video that has been paused....you know like when they move just slightly so it doesn't look completely static. The Hydra scene where the hydra's are on a loop to loop, and the middle one just keeps roaring. Comparing that to ACNC or JP is no contest.

Quoted from PinMonk:

Yeah, very cheap, but I guess it works as a kind of "popped off the page" comic book aesthetic. Actually, they should have actual comic pages in the background that these pop out of on the screen to cover the cheapness.

Two words: Shitty Beast.
(I don't remember which pinsider coined that moniker, but truer words were never spoken)

Can you tell me if this is the same person that did JP with Elwin?

Quoted from Pinzzz:

Yes, it’s Chuck. the same person who worked on JP. He is the animation head honcho @ Stern.
Per the Stern Insider podcast: Keith instructed Chuck to keep it simple on AIQ...

Ahh, thanks..I looked on the Stern website I couldn't find the names for the team.
