Quoted from DerezzedKnight:

Future plans for a premium. Not a fan of the yellow. I need those stern art blades and side armor too!

Exactly where my head was

Quoted from zaki:

i would say no. i got tilt ones for jp. wasn't that impressed with putting them on. a PIA. i think the ones i have on the le dp seem like better material

Tilt are basically paper. I didnt even use them. Poor product. Pingraffix are a nice material and easy to install but Stern uses the studiest material imo. Very good product and makes install very easy (after letting everything lie flat for a while first)

What are Canadians customers being quoted at Player One? I know prices vary from customer to customer (love playing that game) and that they have a monopoly on pinball so im curious how much of a variance there might be from newb to veteran?

#809 3 years ago
Quoted from Hazoff:

Not very much at all, they want to sell pins and there's a set number that they can't go below. I've bought many many machines from Player 1 and its a struggle to get free delivery let alone a deal on price. Good luck.

Not looking for a deal but some consistent pricing. I know ive heard of people paying much more than i did for nib. Jerry is a good guy.
Just curious what the price range is actually is right now. It DOES vary. Im guessing about $7,500usd-$7,800usd depending on the customer.

I see you kept yours as well
They recalled these because they are a fire hazard. Oven mitts arent supposed to easily catch fire?

Quoted from HIPPY:

Are there call-outs?

Nope. Wireforms used up the BOM. No money left for call outs this time around.

Quoted from dsmoke1986:

No doubt Elwin has chops as a designer, but he's no Steve Ritchie yet

Youre right. He hasnt given up and still has original ideas. I wonder what game Steve is rehashing for LZ.

Quoted from Aurich:

I'm starting to think by the year 2030 people won't even know what a comic book is anymore.
.

Omg if you only knew how much money a good comic shop makes. Go to a comic shop on a Wednesday to see how many people are there to pick up their monthlies. Add to that the amount a toys and collectables people buy now. Comics arent going anywhere until the paper ban of 2047

Quoted from Pixel8Arcade:

I respect what you are saying but it’s a risky move for Stern. The animations and call outs could be horrid and turn away buyers whereas movie clips and real actors would have less detractors. Let’s see what the live stream shows.

I heard most people on Pinside were snotty eff wads but figured it couldn’t be that bad.
I was wrong.

To each they’re own but IMO this is like watching tennis .

Maybe womens tennis because im slightly turned on by this game

Quoted from Kkoss24:

Lmao...Just my situation was I would’ve had to sell my IMDNprem and I’m not doing that .That being said Ill definitely be looking to play it somewhere soon

My Maiden goes nowhere!! I did just sell one of three solid states i need move to afford AIQ premium because im broke right now though lol

Quoted from tbutler6:

Like it so far also, watching the recent avengers movies (now) this week. Would like to see more or a story on the screen to explain the moves and built excitement but overall it could be a win

Youd be better off watching season 2 of Avengers Assembled on Disney+ (if you are just trying to get into the lore of the game)
Most of the voice work and animations seems to be based of this series and season 2 is very Thanos driven

#1811 3 years ago
Quoted from Blacksun:

I don't believe the stream is the issue. I think it is the way preorders and now prepays in full have to be made prior to seeing any game play. Currently you are making a large purchase based off some art, which looks incredible ZY! AIQ for me had to be paid in full, by bank transfer, no credit card which really caught me off guard. So an instant decision had to be made... Being a HUGE Thanos fan I had to make a snap decision and now seeing Thanos is pretty much absent from the game along with some other things I didn't care for I know I may not like this game. I LOVE the artwork but to buy another 10k Christmas tree for me to look at is not in the cards for me.
IMO, If anything I think the streams should be done in advance or day of like Iron Maiden was, of the preorders, prepays or dealer lists being collected. This way customers will get the chance to make an educated decision based on their needs and wants not based on fear of missing out...

Thats a shitty distributor youve got then. A deposit is all that should necessary. In my case $2,000 cdn (so like $8.99 usd)

#1814 3 years ago

Sorry Jack, WE know youre not a hipster but a tall, thin, sometimes mustached, well dressed guy who is into pinball checks a lot of the hipster bingo sheet. Wear a fadora in the next stream and even I might start to doubt you lol.
Ok now you HAVE to rock a hipster hat tonight lol

#1904 3 years ago

Still waiting until Wednesday to make my final decision but im already selling stuff to justify buying my first premium.

Quoted from DeadFlip:

Well now you gone and done it. Gotta make my face cam bigger now.

I dont think he meant you. You have the personality for it. You're like pinball's Bob Barker lol.
When a new car or gadget is revealed its not usually by a design team.

Dont forget to spay or neuter your pets
