Looks amazing, but in all fairness the Pro lacks an entire (super cool) ramp, a subway, and a VUK at a minimum (ignoring toys and whatnot). Unlike IMDN and JP, for once there is a real layout difference on KME3 Pro vs. Prem.
Love the layout and that spinning disc that raises to become a ball lock under the playfield looks sick! The ramps are innovative and it has a 3rd flipper! Just called my distributor im in for Limited Edition.
This looks incredible. What a layout. Keith Elwin continues to set an incredibly high bar for unique layouts that we haven't seen in decades.
Literally every other designer - the conversation goes like this when a game is revealed - "well this looks cool but its sort of like a reverse X layout" Or " this looks good but its basically just X with different ramp shot and moved pops."
You just cant have that conversation about Keith's games, every one thus far is SO unique and explores new territory. Amazing what new blood can do!
Backglass and side cabinet art on the prem & LE look to be the same with the LE having a red background on the side of the cabinet vs. black background on the premium. Side art on the LE backbox looks pretty cool too. Playfield art really pops. Looks like a lot of fun shots that should have a pretty fun rule set to go with them!
Quoted from Chambahz:Not sure how some of you can’t see the bigger picture on this one?
Disney star passes away and within 24-48 hours, Disney is already announcing additional merchandise, profiting from an IP that the deceased was a part of. You don’t think that some people might possibly consider this a little insensitive?
It wouldn’t reduce my opinion of them, given the number of existing products already (and continually) for sale, but seeing as how CEOs have lost their jobs over re-posted tweets recently, mayyyyybe someone has decided that they can survive without the “massive” royalties they will receive from Stern pinball, and that there’s literally NOTHING to lose by showing respect to the family/fans of the deceased by holding off for a little while?
You don’t have to agree, but you should all be bright enough to understand the mechanics on this one.
guess they didn't care, released this morning
Quoted from woody76:guess they didn't care, released this morning
Guess they did care. Announcement was scheduled for yesterday.
Premium/LE looks packed but pretty shameful that the infinity gauntlet plastic on pro looks better that the actual molded one.
Quoted from Pale_Purple:Does Stern never put the game designer’s name in the press release?
They showed him playing the game. It's Keith Elwin.
Also, Stern has a LOT of people working on a single game. Giving Keith sole credit would be super dismissive of the work the team puts in.
Quoted from manadams:Premium/LE looks packed but pretty shameful that the infinity gauntlet plastic on pro looks better that the actual molded one.
Yeah, that's what I thought too... The gauntlet looks stupid, and I like the Pro much better in that respect.
Otherwise, this looks like a winner... I might need to think about selling a machine to make room and make my first NIB purchase. I'll hold off for them to fix some of the kinks tho.
Premium LE look like the way to go.
However for route that doctor strange spinning wheel that lifts looks like it would be a nightmare. Even in the release footage you can see it wobble.
Looks extremely fragile to me.
Quoted from Wolfmarsh:They showed him playing the game. It's Keith Elwin.

Very true, but the lead designer usually has their name attached to the game.
Quoted from Genjuro:Can someone hire Lior to start working on a replacement for the gauntlet? Ugg, looks terrible.
[quoted image]
Serioulsy that gauntlet is pretty bad
wow, looks like tonnes of fun! Premium looks like the way to go...need the lifting disc and that funky subway...
Quoted from Kkoss24:Looks like a dish wash glove.
LOL. True, but I bet it there will be lots of mod options for that. It is almost like they made it bad on purpose to let the modders have some fun.
Does the Avenger's tower hold three balls for a physical lock? Both videos only showed one ball ever in there.

Looks to be virtual.

Wonder why they showed it so early if its going to be about a 4 week wait on games.
Quoted from mbrave77:LEs first? Interesting...
smart move. Haul in the big money first from the whales - most of whom buy without caring to play it first. Pro buyers are more discerning and will pick it apart on pinside like they always do which can (and has contributed in the past) to a reduction in interest in the up-market versions thereby resulting in worse sales....I'd say this is a brilliant move and likely to be the model moving forward.
Especially since location play is essentially irrelevant at this point in time - the shift of focus to the high end home buyer is a pretty obvious one.
Quoted from yancy:Hot Wheels should have ramps like this.
As much as I do like Hot Wheels...you're right.
Quoted from mr9865:Wonder why they showed it so early if its going to be about a 4 week wait on games.
Possibly cause Jack is announcing soon also....beaten to the punch
Looks really cool for sure. But I'll sit out at least 6 months after the release and monitor the owner club thread. I'm not interested in being a member of an Avengers Fixes Thread - I'll let all the issues get identified and worked out by over-eager, early adopters.

Just like the TMNT diverter ramp issue.
Quoted from Pale_Purple:Does Stern never put the game designer’s name in the press release?
I think I saw Keith's name listed on the left Apron card in one of the photos.
Quoted from Chambahz:Guess they did care. Announcement was scheduled for yesterday.
LOL, less than 24 hours is caring. get out.
