A friend of mine was having issues with the SAM CPU on a Stern Star Trek so I took my Avatar board over and updated the code on mine to work on his ST. After diagnostics we determined that there was no issues with his board. I then brought my board back home and tried to update it back to Avatar but it will now not detect the flash drive, so it cannot update. I have been using the same flash drive for years and tried it with two other flash drives. What can I do to fix this? Is there any way to "format" ST so I can just put Avatar in? Thanks for any help

You'll have to call stem support for this one. Stern Star Trek pro uses CPU board 520-5352-01 which is incompatible with avatar pro board 520-5246-00Hopefully the board wasn't damaged ...

Stern told me to call my distributor lol
They said the swap wouldn't typically damage the board

Anyone else know what I can do to get this board going? Did I brick the board?

UPDATE
Still nothing from Stern. Is there a master reset procedure for these boards that I don't know of? Would buying a new EPROM fix this?
