No, the Navi ball does not react to magnets. I love the Navi ball--it really speeds up the play and it is quite a challenge to control it. Very fun in my opinion!
Quoted from Rarehero:Argh, I'm starting to miss mine...dammit lol.
Yeah Rob, I must admit I was surprised when I saw that you had unloaded yours! You still have quite the collection though!
Quoted from Rarehero:I'm not Rob.
Doh! Sorry Greg! Not sure where the Rob came from!
Quoted from whisper:but I play it a fair bit on location an have never got an extra ball
I think it has to do with the rules/code. I have both Avatar and Iron Man and it is extremely rare to get an extra ball on either of those machines even though I have mine set to maximize them as well.
Quoted from bonanza:Also does anyone know where you get the sticker that goes on top of the bank of drop targets in front of the mech suit?
I am pretty sure Brock at PinballCustoms.com was selling them although I can't find them on his site right now. http://www.pinballcustoms.com/product-category/playfield-parts/
So my Avatar LE has started occasionally registering normal chrome/steel pinballs as the ceramic Navi-ball. My understanding is that the system is designed to detect the ceramic ball by the ceramic not completing the circuit between the metal strips in the shooter lane. If the steel balls are also not completing the circuit, I figured there must be a loose connection underneath randomly preventing the circuit from completing. But, when I look underneath this section of the shooter lane, I don't see anything obviously wrong anywhere.
Has anyone heard of this problem before or have any recommendations on what to specifically check? Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas!
Quoted from J85M:Also how many people would be interested in a pop bumper mod for their Avatar?
I'd be interested in that!
Quoted from J85M:Would anyone be 100% interested in a new movie accurate Link?
Absolutely!
