I was going to do a file and make it available on shapeways in a gold plated metal and would be a much cheaper option, already started but never got feedback on another thread so stopped. Shapeways has the ability where each customer can custom add their own serial number.

Quoted from NoMonkey:

Our friendly neighborhood Swinks has created a new product just for us!
Check it out: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/cactus-canyon-serial-number-pinball-plunger-plate
This provides a nice, cheap alternative for showing off our serial numbers while we continue the search for our respective plaques.
Even if you don't purchase one, please be sure to voice your appreciation. He went out of his way to help fill a void here without even being asked!

cheers mate, just think the crazy prices being asked for the plagues is a bit over the top, these were just a alternative for people, still metal, a few options and with the ability to add your serial number enjoy. These can be fitted into the recess of your plunger housing with out the need for screws.

enjoy

Quoted from Cheese_WizardPQ:

forget it. I just read your instructions.
thanks again!

I hope you cancelled your order without drama and worked out the numbering process, noticed the material changed as well, make sure you contact them if the material change was not your desired preference.

just for other the process to order as a little confusion and if ordering from your phone apparently the custom text box is hard to find or not there so best to order from your computer.

search "swinkscc" on shapeways

select material preference

my concern is if it is made, plated and then engraved with serial numbers (on demand) after plating you may risk corrosion or flaking plating if it is a basic metal.

#101 7 years ago

but these will be engraved not stamped, where it looks like the originals were stamped 1-925 (or what ever the final number) and then plated / finished where these will be engraved on demand so would probably be finished with the plating or whatever and then engraved cutting through the plating finish.

I designed a option serial number plate for the shooter housing, here is one pinsiders plate. PPS shut down this design but I designed a sheriff badge that you can add a number to.
