Hey guys, I've been working on a little project lately that I thought some of you might be interested in.

The goal was to get a Walking Dead pin to automatically tweet high scores. It still needs a little debugging to get it working more reliably, but any scores over 50 million should automatically get posted to https://twitter.com/IGN_High_Scores

There were no hardware modifications to the machine itself, only one cable connected to the existing RS-232 port.

This works via a Raspberry Pi installed in the backboard running some custom code I wrote to pull data from the serial port. The data is provided from oga83's Pinball Browser communication patch.

Has anyone else worked on anything like this? Are there other internet-connected pins out there posting scores?

If anyone is interested in trying to get this running in their own pin, please let know.

So far this only works on Stern pinball machines based on the S.A.M. board system.
