Anybody else use the Auto Replay and Replay Boost?
I like to set it on 5% with the replay boost and see how far I can get with a credit. For some reason it helps improve my scores.
Anybody else do this?
Also, I noticed replay boost doesn't work with "freeplay" on my romset. I haven't figured out if "auto replay %" works with freeplay or not yet. I know its supposed to readjust every 50 games on a Williams but I could never get it to kick in until I switched to coin-op mode for a while.
I think it's cool to do it the way you do it because it gives you an increasing target to shoot for. Since I have my machines set up to give extra balls instead of replays, I like to keep the replay at a fixed level, that way people playing the game have the same opportunity to get an extra ball from game to game.
What does turning on the Replay Boost do anyway? It's default is On in the settings of modern Sterns.

Increases the replay value as it is achieved to make sure it’s not dominated by someone who is playing well before the percentage feature catches up.
