Austin Powers
Stern, 2001So I have had this Austin Powers for a few months, turns out the power is shutting down when I am playing in the middle of a game. I found the MPU and where the source is, but my machine has this label instead. I didn't see a memory capacitor either, so I am stumped on what to do.
Any advice on how to fix this?

NVRAM is installed in U212 below right of battery holder. This isn't going to help your problem, but will solve the no battery mystery ....
Looks like it has NVRAM installed so you don't need batteries. This shouldn't have anything to do with the game shutting off mid-game though. Is it shutting down completely or re-booting?

Yep, that is why the batteries are not needed. Get a DMM/Voltmeter and check your supply voltages. Random shutdown is not a battery/memory problem

Start by checking the 5v circuit.
