So I have Austin Powers; fun game but time to say goodbye. I switched out the the display controller board with South Park, since they are in the same generation (Sega/Whitestar). I ordered a new display controller board, but the screen doesn't show the points. Could it have something to do with the connections or the Dot Matrix Display board?

Feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Do you see the DMD controller boot up screen at all? If no, how are your power supply voltages to the DMD? If yes, check ribbon cable to CPU board. Any corrosion damage on CPU board? If can get into the ribbon cable header feeding control signals to DMD.

I did check ribbon cable to the CPU board; the thing was plugged in backwards! Thanks for your advice.
