I just finished fixing up a Laser Ball. During game play if I knock down all the drop targets they stay down until the next ball. I checked all switches on the drop targets and they all register and a sound is produced when dropped. Checked the manual settings and nothing about this there. Is this normal?

Are you saying that they are supposed to reset after you knock them all down (not just during ball launch)? All the individual old sliders appear to be working fine based on switch test and sounds during gameplay

When the target drops, it has a momentary switch for that individual target, only lasts for a fraction of a second.
When the target is at the bottom, it also closes the 'all down' switch, but this one daisy-chains between all the targets. All the targets in that string need to each be working. In Laser Ball, all the 'L-A-S-E-R' targets are one group, and the 'B-A-L-L' targets are another group.
Knock down all the 'LASER' targets and you should see switch #24 show up, the 'BALL' targets should give you switch #38.

I was thinking it might have something to do with an “all” event that wasn’t processing. Excellent explanation.
