Hello everybody I have been having trouble locating the owners of a couple complete playfields. A lot of times customers emails to me, have clearcoat in the subject line rather than the title of the pf, and I get 30-60 emails a day with that headline, and sometimes I forget to make a note, anyway.
I am looking for the following owners of these pf's

NOS paragon (you dropped off 2 of them, I sold one for you and restored the other. It is completeO

CPR medusa This pf was sent to me late summer, and has been in my living room since thanksgiving. Its complete and looking nice!

NOS Flash. It was sent to me by the person you bought it from sergio johnson. Its done and amazing. I have fun with those older nos.

Also bob pointer. I have 8 complete pf's for you. I have emailed 3 times trying to confirm an address. I dont want to send them until I hear back.

If anyone knows any leads on these jobs I would like to get them out, so you can contact me or the person who owns them.

As always thanks to all of my supporters. I havent been doing the monthly pf list/ pf fourm because pinside changed their policy, and I am trying to figure out how I want to do it in the future. I do have a website to see a list of what is available at

    https://pinballplayfieldskruzman.com/

Otherwise its biz as usual, and I hope to start a new pf thread here, I am just not sure if it will have my list of pf for sale, and without that I am not sure there is enough to keep it active enough to be fun. I am open to your opinions. Ok cheers, kruzman

Here's a bump for you Ron. Now get off the couch and get my playfield done.

    #4 5 years ago

Hey Ron I'd like to talk at ya about a touch up and clear on my original I500 pf. Are you goin to the VFW show? Might drop off FT too.

    #5 5 years ago

No I am not going to the vfw show, but I am going to the patz show in april.

Also I have found the owner of the Flash pf. His family was on vacation. so that pf is going home. I still need to find the others. So any help is appreciated.

Lastly I got shippment of the glue for my install kits. so if you have ben waiting for me to get that, and need an install kit feel free to contact me and I can get it out to you.

AS always, thanks to everyone for the support, so I can do this. (pf's)

    Those are all mine.

To bump this thread up I will announce that I am finishing both a DE Star wars, and a CPR bally playboy this week.
Both are amazing. The DESW took a lot of work. Not only are they known for their inserts not being level, but the inserts right in the middle that have the star wars logo in red, always showed the big square insert underneath. So I painted the area so the logo stands out when not lit and looks super cool when lit. Leveled all of the inserts and reglued the oval inserts that are always a problem, close to the sides on all of the DE pf's.

On the playboy I had to center the inserts, which is common with the reproductions. The print dose not always line up with the pf inserts. Also on this one, it came uncleared, so I got to build up the initial coats with my procedure. Both pf's are really something to see. They are for sale, so feel free to contact me if interested or have questions. cheers, ron

I have found the owner of the flash pf, but I still need to hear from the paragon owner who brought 2 paragons and asked me to sell one ( believe you are in the detroit area?)

BOB Pointer of southern IL or IN. I have 8 pfs complete for you. If you know him, please drop him aline to contact me at
    [email protected]

lastly I have a completed cpr medusa. I had 3 in the shop at the time.

Many times people have pfs from cpr or from the person they bought it from, sent directly to me, so the return address on the box is no help.

I try very hard to keep peoples pfs organized, but if it has been 5 or 6 months since you sent it in, Please check in to see how it is progressing. chances are it is ready for ship.

thank you if you have any leads to these orphaned pf's
and thank you everyone for your support!!!!! ron kruzman

I am gonna bump this once a week, just in case.
    thank you.

kruzman ... Are you serous? People drop off their playfield and vanish? WTF?
Common pinball people... Help kruzman find these pinball playfield people.
    O.K. I'm done ranting.

    #11 5 years ago

    8 playfields????
If the guy bails call me Ron
    Thanks

I am going to bump this again. I talked to bob pointer at christmas a couple times, and I told him I will send him the 4 pf's that are paid for, please send me an address, and I didnt hear back, sent a couple more times. I think I am going in his spam or something. I would love to get the pf's to him, and get paid for the other 4. He lives in southern IL or IN. I know I will hear from him eventually , I would just like to clear the books and pay my taxes.

I also have a Paragon that is owned by a fella that is driving distance from me. he actually brought 2 paragons, and had me sell one, and restore clear the one he wanted. so his balance is just a little. One of the pf's he brought, I had sold a couple months earlier, and someone flipped it for a pretty penny, but thats the way it is. so if you have any info on this one, I really want to get him his pf.

The last one is a medusa. I am not positive, but a lot of times when people have a pf sent here directly from cpr, it gets here and I dont know who owns it, and I just get it done, figuring they will contact me to see if it is done yet.

I realize this sounds archaic, and I dont like making customers business public. I have tried a lot of different ways to keep the owners contact info for the pf's, and now I have just decided I have to write it on the pf. Plus, I save all the emails when they are going to send them.

When you send me a pf, please make sure to send me an email to my regular email acct, [email protected] and in the subject line write the title of the pf and the work for example. Medusa clearcoat. I save all of them and I can easily fine them.

I always have between 12-25 pfs jobs in the studio so actually 2 jobs without owners is not bad for 3 years. Thank you for any help with my pf mystery.

    Ron,

How do you lose track of your customers? How can you take playfields in from customers and not have the common sense to record their name? At least post before and after pictures of your restoration work (actual restoration work on an used playfield) on your website so people know what results to expect. Yes, your clear coating is decent but your real restoration skills are questionable. Let me repeat this, your clear coating is decent. So before your handful of buddies chimes in and say Ron's CC is good, I am referring to his actual restoration skill on used worn playfields. Clear coating a NOS or re-pop playfield is a different animal than to do a full-blown playfield restoration. I was just at a pinball gathering last week and I overheard your nickname, Ron Stickerman. The guy was talking about how you restored his playfield with stickers and he was not happy with the results. And now your posting on a public forum that your a bad business person who loses track of your customers name. It is crazy to think that anyone would even send you their expensive playfield to you.

What kinda [removed] puts a "dog" at the end of his name? Are you a rapper?
You been here 5 minutes and you think you can talk to Ron like that? [removed] come back when you know who's who in YOUR OWN [removed] STATE. [removed]

My name is Tom and my pinball friends call me Tommy the pinball wizard.

At least my name is not Gryszzz. Does 'zzz' mean that your always tired?

Just go back to bed and get more zzz's so your better rested and stop swearing so much in a public forum. I am very surprised that the Pinside moderators allow your fowl language. This is a public forum, try to keep it clean. There are kids on this forum. I'm an old dude and even I am turned off by your F-bombs.

    #17 5 years ago

I like naps Tom Dog. If this was between you and Ron you woulda kept it that way. But you didn't. So [removed]

Jesus, WTF. Ron does amazing work. In fact I am currently doing a playfield swap in my LOTR with a RK cleared PF, it’s gorgeous.

I’ve been friends with tomdog for 67 years. He’s a stand up dude. We used to do fishing. He’s no rapstar, the dog is from our breeding days. We used to breed Doberman shih tzu’s...”dobershits”

    #21 5 years ago

Whatever tomdogs issues are with Ron, they shouldn’t be aired in this thread. The personal and business attacks on Ron were unwarranted, and for the first time since joining this group, I’m disappointed with the Moderators allowing this.

    #22 5 years ago

Since you live so close by Tommy, why not go over to Rons in person and see what kind of work he does and discuss it face to face? Yes I'll agree that his tracking of playfields could be much better but I think Ron just didn't want to have to write on the back of someone's playfield. And when people have CPR just send them to him that's gotta make it even harder to know who's is who's........, but I'll agree there is need for improvement on that matter. But to attack his work is a whole other subject. Work the problem.

I think it’s best to base opinions on your own experiences. Here is mine... Sent Ron an AFM pf to clear. He let me know when it arrived, what he had to do to it after he sanded off the old clear, and when it was ready. Then let me know when it was dropped off for shipment and gave me my tracking number. It arrived safely and is absolutely stunning. I wouldn’t hestitate to send him more pf’s, for the quality of the work and his professionalism. Thanks again Ron!

    #24 5 years ago

Yea, I dont think Ron uses stickers, all the work that I have laid my eyes on was the best I have seen.

    #25 5 years ago

    i think he paints stickers

    #26 5 years ago
    Quoted from Dayhuff:

Since you live so close by Tommy, why not go over to Rons in person and see what kind of work he does

John, I have. It has been several years but I have been to Ron's place.

    Quoted from Dayhuff:

Yes I'll agree that his tracking of playfields could be much better... but I'll agree there is need for improvement on that matter.
    John

John, We agree on a lot of stuff. We have known each other for many years. I have even bought games off you many, many years ago. You host an awesome party every year and I have been to several of them. See you next month at K-Zoo.

    #27 5 years ago
    Quoted from Paulb:

    i think he paints stickers

The playfield I recently seen that Ron restored had several insert decals and you are right, he did paint the black borders around them.

    #28 5 years ago

tommy dog has been trolling me for over a year. I have asked him nicely several times to show his face so we can talk. he never does. I personally think he is someone I know, using one of his several pinside names, but it dosent matter anyway. I have never met him, no idea his problem with me, but he has been doing this for quite a while. he said he would go to dayhuffs party and we waited for him because there are a couple of folks who want to meet him. Maybe the patz show.
I have asked him many time to stay away from my posts, he gets off on the attention, so dont give it to him. I havent read his posts, and I dont any more. Trolls get off on getting people roused up. I got tired of him long ago. cheers, rk

    #29 5 years ago

I just found the name for the paragon pf in my notes. It is owned by glen poole. I cant find his email or know his pinside handle if he has one.

I thought I should explain that before I made this thread, I knew people would give me jabbs for not being organized, which is all fine and in good fun. I deserve it, but I didnt think I would be judged for being human and admitting when I drop the ball and want to fix it.

If anyone is pals with glen poole, we would both appreciate it if you could either tell him to contact me or let me know his email.
Thanks as always to my supporters.

Here is a link to the paragon mentioned above this was a good 60 hrs of restoration before clear. There are before and after pics so check out the yellow mountains at the top of the left side:

    https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/kruzman-pf-restored-paragon-before-and-aft-pics#post-4923077.

also here is a link to a DESW that is nos but required a lot of work. it had 4 drywall screw holes in it from being hung on the wall at DE/SEGA. I drilled and dimpled. glued some of the problem inserts that were popping (on de pfs the hot dog inserts usually close to the far sides tend to lift for some reason)
also most of the inserts are hidden under art work like the big star wars in the center, or the planet at the top with the rings, so I had to paint all of those lines and make them disappear. is a nice looking pf for sure. Its available and can be shipped anywhere.

    https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/de-star-wars-tweeked-and-cleared-dimpled-by-kruzman#post-4924763

and my website which is really just my pf collection that is available if any one needs a pf title is pinballplayfieldskruzman.com with the help of tommy skinner

As always thanks for all of the support.

My policy is customer satisfaction. I encourage my customers to contact me if there is a problem when they get their pf, and if there is I will make it right by all means. Once a good customer didnt like a spot where my buffer burned the edge of a cut out hole for like an inch, and even though it would be covered, the customer looked at the pf the same way I do which is, I judge it as it is, when I am done, not how it will look installed. he sent it back, I fixed it and I paid the return shipping, and he seemed happy. That was about 4 years ago on a FH. I am not saying that there isnt some customer why was not peachy when he opened it, but if you dont call me, I cant fix it. I havent got a complaint since. AS for that fh when I burned the spot, and it was rough there, I totally agreed with the customer, and didnt fight him, or say thats how they were when williams made them back in the day. I want to keep the good customers I like working with.

Now that I write this I am thinking about deleting it because if I am open with not being perfect, it seems to come back at me. I just dont want folks to think I dont want to do my best at everything I do.
