Based upon the behavior of PPS/CGC with MMR, this is an easy no.

Quoted from chadderack:It may be an unpopular thing to say, but if the minimum price point for AFMr is $8K and it only goes up from there, my feeling is that it will be PPS' last game--especially if there are similar delays to those for MMr.
I think there are many people who would be OK with that.
Quoted from Zitt:I don't trust Rick. I don't trust CGC to make a quality product until Pinsiders have them in their hands and they have filled their outstanding orders.
Quoted from DeeGor:My beef is with how PPS/CGC treats their customers.
We all know about the ridiculous delays and the lack of communication by CGC. They had $8000 of my hard earned money. I felt like they owed me a damn explanation about being so late, but none was ever given to me when I attempted to contact them. They just ignored me over and over.
Rick rubs me the wrong way, and CGC is no better in my opinion. I'll spend my money on something else instead.
Quoted from xTheBlackKnightx:I want to add something since PPS decided to contact me. I am not going to war over an entertainment device, or sabotage future sales. I will gladly contact for clarity, and I would enjoy a sales flyer if available. If you want to provide me with more information, just let me know if I have to sign some type of NDA.
I have watched way too many manufacturer shenanigans since even before WMS fell or even the BLY Industries merger to just watch on the sidelines another pingazoo again. It was painful.
I call this "hyping the hype".
IF people misinterpreted my comments, I NEVER stated the game would NOT be remade, a manufacturing contract was not established, or that production could not be started in a short time after reveal.
That is the perogative of the company, not private collectors.
The release statement for MMr and associated content was industry standard, but AFMr has nothing presently.
I only caution that a person should understand what constitutes a reveal, a release, and an actual produced game in order to AVOID speculation on behalf of the general community.
Potential buyers look closely at specifications, features, and timelines when/if they become available.
Remakes cater to a specific type of buyer, not normally to collectors, but rather more to players and owners. There is sometimes massive confusion in terms of the differences of an original run, rerun, reproduction, and remake. They are not all identical.
Good luck on your efforts PPS.
I look forward to the MSRP with the formal statement as that provides indications of potential sales volume, title viability, health of the industry, and state of the new machine market among other important information which I track.
Don't give them a dime until they have a game ready to ship or be like me and never give them a dime.
Quoted from DaveH:Ok, here is where the rubber meets the road bitches. I'm out. I'm out because as I have said I am done with NIB games. I consider AFM to be 10 times better than MM. That may be irrational, but I just enjoy playing it much more than MM. But there is no way I'm going to be taking any kind of chance on the NIB lotto. I'll let everyone else go through the ride and see what drops out the HUO side later.
Smart move.
Who wants to be one of the people who gets stuck with a diffuser?
Quoted from Astropin:The added bonus would be that Andrew and Highway would profit and not Rick/PPS.
