Quoted from chadderack:It doesn't black-out the backbox lights if that's what you mean. There are a few videos from TPF that show this.
It seems like this wouldn't be too difficult for PPS/CGC to add as software option.

Quoted from colonel_caverne:Does it have this great mod?
That looks friggen pimp.
On the flippers, they are using the same flippers mechs as MMR, so unless current MMR owners are complaining, I think there's nothing to worry about.
Quoted from bigd1979:I wrote up what i found out about afmr and the strobe at the show this weekend in another thread but apparently anything i mention about afmr positive or negative or neutral in here gets the afmr buyers in this thread upset . So if your interested look in the new what to buy mmr or afmr thread.
No problems here bigd. I appreciate any and all input from those that have seen and played it firsthand. Unfortunately I won't be able to myself, but am buying based on what has been shown and reported and it looks good to me. Maybe CG can get a few details like the strobe lights tweaked before production, based on the input you and others have given. I know they are already adding a hole protector.
Quoted from flynnibus:The screen however.. bleh! I thought I would like it based on the high res art... but trying to keep the 'original' style everywhere else made it look like a giant Fisher Price toy. The monster dots on all the score screens was awful to me. I was totally put off by it.
Strange. I can't imagine not liking the larger colored display. I suppose the purist would be turned off by it. That's why its good they are offering a classic model.
Quoted from Pin_Guy:I've been told CGC has no manuals to go with the machine so it's been delayed
I was told it should ship tomorrow so I'm still hopeful it will make it here this week.
Wow
They couldn't ship the pin and mail you the manual? I'm sure you wouldn't have protested.
Looks like the matching serial numbers got the first 500. I'm surprised by that actually. I was thinking some non-matching would have shipped in the first batch. I've been fully paid for a few weeks now, so I sure I would have been in the first batch, but its kind of looking like that's not the case at this point.
Quoted from frankmac:I though it was more like 350 LEs.. Then MMR, than back to AMR. I could be wrong.
Who knows. It just looks like none of us non-matching number guys are in the first batch. So I'm guessing November at this point?
Cool, so there's still a chance. For some reason I was thinking they were done with the first batch in mid-August. I'm not sure why, but I'll take it.
No word on mine yet, but I ordered through PPS and it sounds like they send you tracking after its delivered. So I may be getting it next week as well!
