Quoted from ToucanF16:I would say because of too much licensing.
if The Pinball Arcade could do it without a kickstarter, i'm sure PPS would have no problem getting that license. it's just one license - Universal.

Quoted from Atari_Daze:Can someone explain the hype over another game remake / reboot for me? Is the pinball world like Hollywood with almost no original ideas any more? What am I missing?
it's a great game. lots of people would like to own one. many people aren't really interested in rareness or the "authenticity" factor, so buying a brand new game with guaranteed finished code and excellent gameplay is appealing.
Quoted from hassellcastle:Please note. These three examples of AFMr are prototype machines. Things may change slightly upon production.
Buyers of LE can request to have their game in Stainless or Martian Green.
that was fast!
good move.
Quoted from Kiwipinhead:Sorry, but just like when MMr came out if you own an original you are not allowed to comment on the re-make, and if you do you will be called a Troll.
there have been lots of owners of an original commenting in this thread. maybe it depends what you say?
Quoted from rubberducks:A good, measured post. Something we could do with more of from company reps.
I don't think the illumination of the speakers is the only issue. Their bracket or retainer looks rather flashy, car audio like and doesn't fit the look at all. I think something more inconspicuous would go down rather better.
It's a pinball machine about martians blowing up tourist attractions. It's hard to imagine any object on earth more suited to looking flashy. I'm pretty sure no pinball designer has ever received the directive "make it look more inconspicuous."
